No, because what the councilman is actually doing is airing out personal grievances that have little to do with the business at hand. He is also trying to use his position to get answers about this personal grievance, which is an abuse of power.

An elected representative asked for supporting information and was not provided as he stated, his questions were not answered by the township administrator Ms. Vianna and instead diverted to the mayor who went on a weird mode of questioning and implied the councilman was making this personal! The councilman has every right to question.

The mayor is absolutely correct. One should not use a personal grievance with an administrator in order to potentially vote "nay" against an unrelated judge. Any issues with that administrator sound a great deal as if they belong in a different venue.

This is speculation at its best! Also why can't public servants answer basic questions? what's the different venue? a closed door meeting where no constituents can listen in?
