I’m glad you’re looking forward to the guide! And, to be fair, I do play VERY aggressively (that’s how the weapon was supposed to play in Sp2) but it’s true that you shouldn’t stick to playing passive all the time: if you do, you become predictable We’re lucky to have a kit that’s good at alternating both aggro and more passive, support gameplay, so make you use of it! Adapt your gameplay depending on your team’s composition: if you see your team comp has more than 1 backline then you should take the aggro more, but if your comp has 2 roller/blasters for example, you should try to play more for map control and zooka spam to support your aggro (this is relevant because the solo q matchmaking sure is something) And remember to play around your shield as much as possible: the more shields you put out, the more turf you get and the more you put pressure on the other team, and who doesn’t love free value like that?

I have a question: is (and if yes then how good is it) Thermal Ink viable on tents? I want to believe it is a good ability for weapons, that sometimes struggle to kill in one try, but usually everyone thinks it is simply bad.

The thing about Thermal Ink is that, while it has its uses, in tent’s case, other abilities are far more valuable. It doesn’t work with ink mine or trizooka, and it only reveals the opponents in kid form; if it could reveal people in squid form and it did all of that, it would be good enough for tent (as tent’s main counterplay is people hiding in ink and ambushing you), but it doesn’t do any of that With time, you should be able to track the location of opponents you hit without the ability anyway Tent’s gear is very strict by design: you want Comeback and Stealth jump, always want at least a sub of swim speed, super jump, special saved and ink saver main; The two main builds that work well for tent rn are AT LEAST 1.1 quick respawn OR 1.1 special charge up, that alongside the rest So with the very strict minimum build with tent, out of the 3mains and 9 subs spaces you have, 3 mains and 5 subs are already taken… and for the remaining subs, adding more of the subs mentioned previously rounds up the builds better than thermal ink, as they consistently bring you more value than an ability that sometimes gives you information you likely already have access to

Uhh -If you’re asking if Tent has the special booyah bomb, then no, it’s never had it in both games the weapon’s been in -If you’re asking if I have the communication option “booyah”, then no. My game’s language is French Canadian, so instead of “booyah”, I have “excellent”, which translates to the same word in English Hope that helps! (and if it’s smth else entirely, lmk)

I think the new brella is the tetra dualies of the brella class: It’s really good at getting one good pick and then it gets ganged up on and dies because it needs to get in to get that pick The weapon doesn’t have as much range as you’d think, it doesn’t paint at all, the shield gets shredded by absolutely everything (a horizontal slash from stamped shreds it ._. ) which means it’s super easy to neutralize the weapon, which isn’t the case for tetra Tetra fell out of the meta because tacticooler essentially made every aggro a Tetra, and while I think this Brella could benefit from tacticooler, this weapon is NOT beating the current top tiers in its current form The kit is okay but it’s not enough to put it in a good place in the meta unless something changes about the weapon In its current state, the weapon isn’t going anywhere, but I could see that changing if some good buffs for the main and its kit happens. I will give credit where it’s due tho, I forgot how scary 90 damage brella was, and the weapon itself is really fun to play!

You definitely stole what my thoughts 😭 I really enjoy using that brella but I really, really hope they buff the shield, it’s the only thing holding me back of enjoying the brella a lot

Agreed, tent’s in a good spot right now thanks to zooka, if the special gets nerfed I think the weapon could fall off quite a bit Unless they add MPU in the game again, they should just bring back the tent shield’s health to 800 HP, as 700 HP has shown itself to be a little weak at times
