Maybe I can do 20 for each season and then pack up the rest ... rotation is a good idea too then i can keep all my stuff. Its a start😁😁. I enjoyed this one. Great tips 💞💞

I have a queen size bed that I put on risers. The risers elevate my bed enough for under bed storage. I buy a larger bedspread or bed skirt so the fabric goes to the floor and hides the storage. That under b d space is great for shoes especially long boot boxes. Love, love, love your content and you!

I knew about some of the tips, some I did not. Love your tips and tricks. I really appreciated the encouragement Re: “letting things go”, being attached to clothes, I needed that pep talk because I’m guilty of “shifting “ things around in my closet instead of donating the item. Another thing you mentioned- having enough basic things & I do so, no more purchasing that stuff. You keep me coming back for much needed info re; clothes, beauty, trick & tips, Er’ything. Girl... these were EXCELLENTS tips, I have the hangers the vacuum sealed bags are my FAVORITE. God blessed me with this house and I'm able to divide my clothes by season in different closets and even have in color order...BUT... when you talked about that 20 20 rule in the beginning of the video....I went into panic mode. Now imma have to take DAT ONE to the alter.... what in the world! I donate weekly!!! I even sell on posh and fb market and share my inventory with a friend so she can sell some as well. 🤦🏾‍♀️Please write my name on a page in ur closet journal and just pray for me to get to that 20/20 rule. I love the tips and tricks you shared. I don't really have a big wardrobe myself, but there's definitely some things I can keep in mind for what I do have. I think for me, my only tip would be if you do/can keep track of the outfits you wear to know what stuff you love the most, that makes it easier to donate things you don't wear or love as much.

Yes girl, yes. I can’t share not one tip-my closets are a mess, don’t remember what I have or don’t have & constantly buying. I use the velvet hangers as well. I had also purchased the pants hangers that hold multiple pair, but I kept breaking the closet bars. My husband had to get steel bars cut for me to hang stuff on. I’m a mess & really need to clean out.

Hi, Thank you for this video, I have a large wardrobe. I live in Florida, in my 60's, I have summer clothes and Florida winter clothing (I'm a little cold natural). I'm a Pastor's wife, we have a number of businesses, and We travel. But we I look at the other video's about wardrobe capsule they don't address my needs. I donate clothes but I still seem to have a lot of clothes. I like your ideas for storage, I am going to get better with that. Storage of my shoes are a real problem. I know in a few years I won't be wearing the same shoes, because of my age. For the very most part all my shoes are comfortable and I really like them, 1 or 2 are for just looks. Thanks again!!!

Excellent content Alisha! As someone with a continuously growing wardrobe this topic really spoke to me. So many practical tips! I especially needed to hear your advice on popping tags on newly purchased items & wearing them. That’s one of my biggest issues with shopping; making purchases & setting things aside to wear later…sometimes later never comes and I’ll have a pile of new never-worn clothes. I hang similar items on the same hanger as well. It helps to keep track of the items by type, and many times the items can be styled in the same way.

We live in a 4,000 sq ft house and we still have issues with our things. The bigger the house, the more we buy! My husband shares my addiction with shopping...lol. We have modified our closets to fit more stuff. We have containers in the garage, under beds. We have done it all. We have donated, given things to family members, thrown stuff away and we still have way too much stuff. I started shopping at SHEIN (thanks to you...lol), and I keep the zip lock bags for random things. I was able to get 4 lightweight cardigans in one bag! I have watched all of your videos and I believe this is my first time commenting...LOL! Lord help me!

I am so excited for this video content! I need to get the vacuum bags because by the looks of it I might be able to get more stuff into the off season bins. I am a major thrifter, so I have accumulated a lot of stuff and don't want to get rid of anything. The 20 item tip may be helpful on narrowing what I have in my wardrobe and separate excess to another area to figure out if keeping or selling. I store off season items into huge plastic bins and shoes into large boxes (so leather can breath) Thanks for sharing and blessing to you and all in the days to come.

You are giving so many good pointers…but it’s impossible for me😩 It’s so hard for me wear things immediately, I have a closet full of items with tags, many are not even in style anymore! I’m constantly waiting on the perfect occasion, and I always only wear items once…but can’t let go….I do give a lot of things away and I sell on Poshmark…I’m doing better! I rotate my clothes depending on the season: fall/winter & spring/summer. Which ever season is out, those clothes go into big gray bins and stored into my 3rd floor closet w/ my shoe collection. I keep all the boxes my shoes come in and stack them. Clothes I haven't worn or no longer into, go to the corner thrift store ASAP.

My purses are in two large containers and I labeled them by color.

I do regular purges. If I haven't worn the item in the last 3yrs, I give it to the Angel Aid Thrift. My closet is also color coded by type: shirts, dresses, skirts, pants, blazers. When I wear something I turn the hanger around so I know I've worn it & won't wear again until all hangers have been turned around. That way you wear all your clothes.
