anyone who watches baus knew he would win this game because of his playstyle. Baus didn't get carried because he had a bad early game. teemo got a gold lead then did, quite literally, nothing with it because Baus knows how to play from behind, it's *his* playstyle. watch the game again and tell me where LR had any control of the map and then ask yourself why. Velja was getting bullied out of his own jungle, Nemesis got ganked, died early & was behind, bot was going even, the turning point of the game was Sion ulting bot for a double kill that put bot & mid ahead, and that's with T1 literally trolling.

they locked those in so he wouldnt pick sion, but baus is too based. No one can escape bausen's law, not even the best of the best. Unironically that's what makes baus one of the best players in the world, he's so used to playing and winning at enormous disadvantages that hes always going to find opportunities to turn the tides, even if he gets counterpicked and camped. He has such impeccable macro that even feeding into T1 of all teams, he still made multiple teamfight winning plays and fucking solokilled faker, as well as many 1v2 trading 1 for 1. Baus is that good because even countered you cant shut him down, he's mentally unbreakable.

​​@@aelam02 This completely. Everyone wanted Baus to play Sion because it's only 1 game. Gotta play your bread and butter for a debut. If not for yourself, but for the fans. The guy who picked Teemo was literally wearing a Teemo hat and filling Teemo the entire day so far. It was a for fun exhibition, say for the last game when T1 said their final farewell to Rekkless who played a phenomenon Rakan game with everyone on their main roles. All in all, a great event. Some people are salty because they think T1 trolled when in reality it was a conscious effort to provide some incredibly entertaining games. Some people don't understand a "for fun exhibition" event I guess.

Iconic streamer in the community. Basically known for this inting sion gameplay to the point riot has had to nerf the entire bounty system and how sion works to counter him. He just joined a hype pro team. Not a rig but LR is big in league community rn.

He is a streamer that's been famous for dying a lot and has a narrative of inting a lot of games due to how he abuses dying way into the enemy area to farm up and abuse wave states. Which nets him a lot of gold but also a lot of deaths. He's always been really good and reaching challenger most seasons, but there's a decent amount of controversy around his unconventional play style. So it's less that he's a rival of faker, and more that he's your average guy and has no professional experience, so it's very fun to see the guy now playing against the Goat of league.

People didn't like him because he plays really unusually (dies a lot but gets more gold than enemy basically). And more people on the other hand love him for exactly this. Overally really cool and funny person with 0 drama whatsoever
