Most people don't realize how close you get to the other pilots in the gaggle. You have your GoPro set for super-wide, which makes things look smaller than they really are! By the way, I've started turning my palms toward me while thermalling. It's much less tiring, let's me use the bicep muscles, better control. I learned that watching your videos!

Steering a glider with the back risers instead of the brakes is more efficient. So if he doesn't have to use the brake lines he avoids doing that. You'll see him holding on the the B on practically the whole flight
