I actually hit a bit with Jordan while I was training for the clay court nationals about 2 years ago. His poise was incredible and he either matched or exceeded me in terms of pace when we were rallying (at this time I was 15). Incredible talent, I wish him the best of luck on his journey.

Teodor has a lot of promise but if you watch him closely enough you can tell he has A STRONG left hand preference, and any sharp change of direction to the deuce side causes him to hit a forehand or slice directly to the middle. He's pretty proficient with that righty forehand but if you watch it at half speed he switches very late and he usually settles for a loopy ball in any situation he's unsure of which shot to hit. These are all fixable issues and I'm sure with time it'll get easier, but as the ball gets faster it'll be interesting to see how he adapts
@aceslizeski1882
@aceslizeski1882 Жыл бұрын
He's naturally right handed. Also why do you think most of the rallies in this video are cross court to his lefty forehand? I only saw a few points where what you mentioned happened, which are definitely not enough to draw this conclusion. The opponent simply hit a good ball into the open court. There are several videos you can watch to see his proficiency with both hands. Also, when at net he chooses his right hand, which contradicts what you said.
@geezybop
@geezybop Жыл бұрын
@@aceslizeski1882 when you look at where the actual winners are coming from and you look at where he goes for the more dramatic angle changes it's always on the left side. That's not to say he can't hit winners on the right side, but when forced to switch hands the ball goes to the middle of the court until he mentally adjusts and that's a rampant and consistent tendency. I'm not sure where in the timeline this takes place but it's most definitely an issue in this match

Really nice to see someone with only forehands, but to really make a difference the other one has to be better than the backhand…let’s see if he can achieve this in the future…another thing is that Lee is way bigger now than him and at his age this does a lot for Lee

Unlikely he can keep up playing two forehands effectively as pace increases. But interesting to see, would be very cool if he manages to go pro with it. Movement doesn't seem great though, i wonder if being ambidextrous has a hidden downside of making your movement worse.

I’m an 11 year old boy who’s mom was a professional player reaching the first round of Wimbledon at the age of 18 but sadly retired from the sport due to shoulder injury and she was pretty good she teaches me and i can hit and even higher quality ball with more power than these two although I am taller also I don’t play many tournaments as my mum being one of the top juniors since she was my age she reached number 10 junior in the world and I am practicing to be even better before I start competing and to not pick up any injuries

It's pretty funny that you elevate yourself above theses two players without any particular reason except your own judgment or your great story about your mom. Just play the game and compete and proof that you're better and stop talking about it. I can't hear all these "I'm better", "I should/will be pro", "I can hit harder" messages... just show us that you're the better player on the court. By the way, maybe think about using a "." to make your message more readable to others.

There is a gap between them because ONE of them is not trying to reinvent the wheel. You NEED to determine and make a definitive choice EARLY whether you will have a two handed backhand or a One handed BACKHAND. Anything else is simply TERRIBLE COACHING. You CANNOT have two forehands. The game just gets too quick at the upper levels.
