Thanks for sharing! Wonderful collection and your Mac is 🔥👏 I’ve only used LFSM + perlite, but I’m interested in testing out fluval

This was an incredible video, props to the grower. These are some of the most beautiful heliamphora I've ever seen, and the fact that they grow in such low humidity is crazy to me. Will definitely be trying this with mine, and getting more in the future. Thanks

Hello! I love your video and was wondering what would be one or two varieties for someone new to Heli's that you could recommend to also be grown in this fashion.

Mind blowing collection!! 😍😨Would you be kind to tell IDs of two of them in the video, TIA. First one was red at 00:26 Second one was green at 4:12

The red one is parva ‘EH’ x pulchella (Amuri). I think the clone number is IB19. The green one is an old parva clone from AW, but the clone number is unknown.

My helis keep browning, they're really small and the new growth always slowly turn brown. I use peat and perlite mix, never let it sit in water and keep it in an enclosed cabinet of 80% humidity, 27degrees celcius; it's been weeks and no sign of improvement. Any advice?

Are the temps always 27 C or does it drop at night? That is a little on the warm side for continuous temperatures. I don’t like peat mixes for helis, but some people are very successful with them. My favorite mix by far is 3 parts fluval stratum to 1 part pumice, a distant second is 50/50 long fibered sphagnum and perlite. If you decide to switch to stratum you’ll want to keep them sitting in water.
