The best race for a zerker is a Elin or Popori, reason being Elins and Popori have a racial ability that give them faster animation meaning you will have faster swing speed than any other race yes castanics give you an additional 1% chance to crit but that if only really useful if you're playing a archer, sorcerer or slayer, warriors any race can play that class since they have skills at the end of their combos that crit 100% and also a zerker rotation isn't hard, you can do 1.5+mil dps using only 3-4 skills Fiery Rage > Thunderstrike > Vampiric Blow > Cyclone > and repeat or if you want to do over 2mil dps you can do Fiery Rage > Thunderstrike > Vampiric Blow > Cyclone > Thunderstrike >Raze > Flatten > Thunderstrike > Cyclone > Repeat.

Love your content Garl, but I have to disagree with your solo evaluation of the mystic/priest. With the mystics 2 close range aoe spells, and boomerang pulse, I can mass pull groups of 8-10+ mobs and mow them all down in a matter of seconds. Then move right on to pulling another large group cause they have mana and health regen from the motes. Granted this is just while grinding to 65 so idk how endgame solo content will be. Again, love your content, I'll see you on stream. Lol 👍👍

Im pretty sure we can gender change in pc if im not mistaken, but if youre a max min kind of person, male brawler has longer animations and shorter range for some skills. Things like pile driver dont move you as far, and jack hammer takes longer to cast.

Can you or someone explain how to do the rotation on zerker, and actually make combos work on console please, with animation cancel,, Preferably PS4. Having a hell of a time with my zerker currently level 45.. MP always drained, and only getting TS, into VE to combo. Rotation taking forever. Bosses are long gone running away before I can hit anything half the time. Reading about this animation cancel but it's confusing. Coming to my Neverwinter go to guy here for some help! Haven't let me down yet. Happy to see your covering Tera now. Long time fan and supporter of your videos.

Thanks for the Kind Words. Unfortunately I don't nor have I ever played a Zerker. It's not my cup of tea at all. They have slow hitting attacks and as if you said.. the combos can be tricky. Wish I could help ya out more. But I play a Sorc Main =) Try searching the internet for some old guides. Remember Tera is a 6 year old game. I'm sure there's info out there.

i tried the archer up to level 25, mainly using enchanted and modified relic weapons which did more damage than the same level non-relic weapons and compared to my sorc around the same level at the time found it took longer to kill and slower to evade then my sorc,usually i love ranger and mage classes but this time,i just found it a bit slow,maybe it was my connection idk,but i deleted it and worked on my sorcerer and my sorc is now nearly lv 40,ive found leveling my sorcerer to be quite quick,faster then i leveled in most games to 40,and i like the armour reward system where ur given token to get spefic gear upgrades that you can further upgrade,and makeing money is so simple just harvesting nodes ive come accross durring leveling up ive made decent gold doing,i dunno when the last time you was playing was but my sorc kicks butt doesnt need to buy mana pots at all,ive not bought even 1 mana pot in the last 3 days ive been playing my triangle button combo's lightning, metor strike 4 hail storm 3 and the mobs all fall down using just that 1 combo i rarely even use my left trigger abilitys,because they fall down so easily to elemental damage i use relic weapons and reward tokens from vanguard request missions to get the gear i need and enchant and add crystal and have never run out of mana,so im sorry but your critic of sorcerer is wrong at least about my character,idk about yours,id love to group with you and show you

No, there is no DPS boards. PC uses parsers to track damage.

As a former maxed slayer and seasoned pvp player I did not ever think that I ever had to rely my damage on rng. On normal dungeons run, my damage has never ever fall behind to anyone of the same gear level. Slayer is all about chaining combos, if you are master at chaining combo, you can do very high dmg. If you are able to trigger rng, you will literally steal aggro from any 24man raid boss in less than 3 seconds. Yes I know what you are thinking, as a slayer you have to regulate your own dps a lot of times, it start to makes you wonder why you even bother playing slayer... As a pvp player, slayer are able to kill any class out there in less than 8 seconds while having the same gear level. Unless you come across a veteran pvper, you might be having a hard time. Like when I used to fight a lancer, it was a half an hour duel and still decide on draw. In conclusion, slayer is a very HIGH burst class that fall toward pve more than pvp. In pvp, I suggest you never fight in front line. You are a line backer, you EASILY intercept someone or give chase and kill them but too weak to be taking hit from anyone. Best to play like an assassin. The fun thing is that it’s easy to pk as a slayer, since nobody can escape from you. Play discrete and carefully, before you know it, you will be on top of the pvp board.

In the video it sounds like the slayer is a bad choice, in the beta I played mystic, brawler and archer and berserker but I didn’t really enjoy them, I would say that the one I found the best is probably archer, however I want to roll a slayer. Is he BAD or is the class just not a style of play you prefer

None of the class's are "bad" - I'm just saying be prepared if you play a Slayer to have a long road ahead. End game you will be looked over for other DPS. It's a good class but since it's hardest hitting stuff is based on RNG.. it's completely unpredictable about damage output

I played tera for about 4 years & mained a slayer & was one of the top PVE slayers on my server, great class but it's basically a glass cannon based on rng, really focuses on critical hits. If you can manage to stay alive you will eventually do a shit ton of dmage but mistakes made can be deadly. at the same time you can also get lucky and literally slay people in pvp if ur rngesus

Well, you can't really see ping on console =) So, if you have a bad internet connection then you should know what to expect. Factor in that it is console and there's lag already.

I’m usually the tank or guardian in my group of friends and I was gonna pick the lancer because he has the highest defense,but you said he’s slow and not very hard hitting and he looks pretty boring. Lancer is a Pure Tank.. So, yes.. You won't see much DPS from him. That's not his job. Brawler is a Hybrid that "can" do both

No Ninja is very sad. i played a warrior and priest on PC release. Priest was pain in the ass to level up to 60, but i had so much fun healing in this game. Warrior was also very fun playstyle. And yes of course, both Elin :-) somehow the loot boxes and kind of mounts/transmog items ruined the game for me

The Queue system is automatic. If they aren't any Lancer's in the random queue then it will take any Wars/Brawlers - Doesn't matter what gear or skills you have.

as garlaanx said, the instance matching is automatic, and as a warrior you don't choose to queue as a tank or dps, but that's until lvl 65. The lvl 65 instance matching will always group 1 healer, 1 tank, and 3 dps no matter what ( while on low level dgs you can get a group without any tank as an example ). As for the warrior at 65, you can choose to queue as a tank or dps, no matter what stance and what gear you have (as long as you have the recquired item lvl for the dungeon you are queueing for, obviously). But since a tank is mandatory for lvl 65 dungeons, if you queue as a tank with your dps stance and gear, you are most likely to get kicked when the other party members realise it.

It's not that it's "hard" per say. It just takes longer killing stuff solo rather than playing a DPS. Farming is a bit different in Tera. You aren't farming just on one toon normally. You are making as many alts to do as many daily vanguards as you can account wide. hence, having more DPS alts = faster

Lancer is a pure tank with buffs - Brawler can main tank but off tank and DPS - It's up to you and your play style what you want to play. As far as tips go. Just grind to max level and start slowly working on gear.

This game is oddly enough the first game where I feel "Hmm, none of the classes interest me (thematically). I usually go for Paladins, Rogues or Summoners. I guess it comes down to Lancer or Mystic then, but they simply feel like light versions of the themes I usually enjoy. If you read these comments, please help me haha

I read every comment ;) And you will have to figure out what best fits you. I wish there were my "caster" classes. Sorc being the only true caster dps is meh. I want a Necro or Warlock.. or a Summoner/Mage etc.

If you are referencing the typical MMO theme, then - as an OG PC Tera player - *I'd suggest Mystic if you like summoning* - Mystic IS a Healer, but it's not like your typical Priest. If you utilise your skills enough you will find you can *dominate* almost any BAM* with the help of your Thralls, depending on how you play your offensive cards. Like Garlaanx said, Mystic will not die on you unless you make a mistake, are highly undergeared or are are very unfortunate. If you prefer to be the main healer, as in without worrying about passive crit buffs, thralls etc ,then Priest is the way to go. The same can be said about Lancer, as opposed to a Warrior, Bezerker or Brawler (all considered tanks). If you purely wish to be THE TANK with not much else to worry about, then Lancer is the way to go. The main thing distinguishing the other tanks from the Lancer is the DPS, in which Lancer does the least. For the Rougey side of things, I would suggest either Warrior, Reaper or the Ninja. Reapers are the way to go if you want to see numbers. IMO If you're looking from the outside in, a Reaper is a little like a fusion of Sorc and Archer, in terms of their style of play, AOE scaling and damage output, but with a pinch of Warrior for a bit of uniqueness, lol. You can get in close or do a lot of AOE damage from meters away and can teleport over short distances simultaneously (with the help of an RNG skill which allows you a cast or 2 extra I believe, I believe there are other skills which allow for this to be achieved easier but it's been a while..) I mained Warrior on pc since the game released, so about 6 years? Anyways Warriors are highly technical DPS/Tank Hybrids. As an unbiased tank (against what the typical Lancer player may think, TERA or non) *The Warrior IS capable of solo tanking end game, as well as dealing a considerable amount of damage* However, the Warrior relies on dodging-blocking as opposed to full on taking damage (Lancer/Bezerker) - Warriors wear Leather (with Slayer/Reaper/Archer) so are built to be more agile. As for a DPS Warrior, *If you wish to play like a rouge then a full DPS Warrior build is best*. Every class have a few skills that I like to call "evasion-damage skills", these will move the character (granting invincibility time) whilst doing some damage. Warrior has the most of these skills, "Death From Above" being your most important, which allow you to dodge what most players cannot. "Backstab" allows you to teleport behind your opponent/mob and stun them, much like a rouge, this skill is paramount in PVP but is usefull in most cases. All i can say is, to master this class you will likely have to spend a lot more time with it, however you WILL reap the rewards, especially in PVP. When I played, there would be a bunch of Gunners, Sorcs ect topping leaderboards..but the Warrior tended to dominate and be the very TOP DOG.

Elin Sorc is my Main and I love it =) There's no best anything. All the classes are balanced to a certain degree right now. Once the game progresses you will see changes to classes and then see some minor unbalance.. (like when the Valk launches)

There are micro transactions but it's mostly cosmetic race change name change ECT. The only thing worth buying is more character slots but they have given 3 slots out for free so far so even that is debatable

I'll read some reviews but thanks for the tip. I tried neverwinter but you can't gank at all in that. I only play games to grief other players. I prefer to kill teammates but it's so hard nowadays to find a grief er friendly game. I played bf2 and bf1942 as well as wow. I was banned from all of those games bit I got several good years of killing teammates and ganking out of those games. In fact...in the bf games I don't think I ever killed an enemy player, lol...I used to get on chat and tell the enemy where the specs were hiding, lol.

Ron Lockhart you can't friendly fire in ESO but there's a ninja class called nightblade that has a vanish skill making them great gankers. Equip a bow and big ole broad sword and go to work vanishing after kills to buff up

I have a zerker friends got a sorc and I made a Slayer and we have all classes playing with us and I can say Slayer is number 3 in dps for console fasho zerker and sorc are even imo
