i have had mine for a few weeks now, and eventhough it was not easy to put together, I love it! it holds so much and enables the jeep to store and hold more than it ever has. I have taken a minor road trip and had more than enough room for 2 people, recovery gear, coolers, and even more. this is, without a doubt the best purchase i have made for my jeep.

Ok Dennis!!! I got this rack, complete with the sides. I do not know how many times you did this to make it look easy - it wasnt. I struggled with the rails and then getting it into the jeep. It is well made, and im sure i will love it after i let the hate fade away. The instructions that came with it sucked! Your video is where i learned to put it together, so thank you for the video.!

At 3:38 you say to slide in two T Nuts into the long rail. After I was finished I didn't need those. Only need them on the short rails.

I like the rack, however this item should be already assembled in a box ready to go for the price.

I have had mine almost a month now and I love it! It's one of those things you don't know you need until you have it. Don't know how I got by with out it.

On soft tops: The storage rack utilizes factory sport bar mounting holes. These holes are used by the factory soft top support brackets on jeep equipped with a factory soft top. This prevents the ability to install the storage rack for factory soft top applications. Aftermarket non fast back soft tops that do no utilize these mounting holes will accommodate the storage rack.

Did anyone figure out if this will fit a 2 door JK if the rear seat has been removed. I removed my rear seat and could use this.

So most the time is putting the box together? rest seems ok. Adjustable is nice, you guys are the best. So no issue with soft top locations for quik disconnects etc.?

This mounts in the same location as the soft top, sorry you can use both at the same time.

I’ve removed the rear seats on my 2017 Sport 2 Door. Will this allow the rack to fit? 🤞🏼🤞🏼

Sorry, Unfortunately this rack will not fit the 2 door. The brackets is made to bolt to the 4 door roll cage in per-existing bolt locations. The 2 door roll cage is different and the brackets included will not work on a 2 door roll cage.

always for the JKU... JK, Owners are lacking storage space.... I love my 12 JK Rubicon, but storage is always a struggle.... Question, is there a heavy duty exterior rack that can be bolted directly to the JK 2 dr hardtop?

+Nick Bussell It's not designed to work with the soft top, but it could. The only thing that prevents it from working with the soft top is that the two holes in the cage where it bolts up are used with the soft top. So it could be worked around, Maybe in the future we will have a way to make that work.

It looks nice but to much work. I got one a lot less expensive and it took me 10 minutes to installed. Teraflex is great products but to many steps

BEWARE!! I have had this for a couple of years now and I regret buying it. It was a pain to put together, A VERY BIG PAIN! You WILL seriously get frustrated putting it together and installing it to the Jeep. It will always makes noise and vibrates. The screws will always came lose that hold it to the roll cage and you will have to tighten them. One of them broke that was screwed into the roll cage and I had to drill it out and, the broken end went inside the roll cage. It has been nothing but a disappointing and I regret buying it.
