Terrific mini album, Ginger! I do love that it's simple colors and not distracting patterns so the receiver can lay their pictures and journal without worrying they are covering a great scrapbook paper image! Your minis are the best!

I thought about privacy issues especially with kids. I just wish there were some of a vacation spot, a new restaurant..something like that. I am not saying you particularly but I am able to watch many videos and there isn't many with photos. I enjoy ones that show how to make the mini, the paper kind of shows itself. The mini album is super cute. Too bad the paper pad is impossible to get. I can't order it online from Joann's or get it in store. It's like it was never there. Maybe it is only available in certain areas. I am in southern California and can't seem to get it from anywhere. I will just have to do it with a different paper pad. Thanks for posting this.

Darling Is there a tutorial? Enjoyed the simplicity. I’m a newbie and was wondering did you use white washing tape around the pages and tags?

Renee Riley I do have a tutorial but it’s for a bigger size. No I didn’t use any washi tape. I used solid white cardstock and then cut the patterned paper 1/4 inch smaller so it would leave a white border around the edges.

You mentioned not inking, I was just wondering why you ink. Do you like the more old look or is because you like to hide the white cut edges? Or both? :)

Both. Plus sometimes inking helps the layer of aper stand out more. Especially if you use the same color of ink as the paper.

Hi, I am new to your channel. I think your mini is cute, but wondered why so many of you do not put pictures in them? I think all paper can look great, but without pictures it seems it is not done. I am new to scrapbooking ( under a year) and I am doing my first mini but am struggling to feel like everything goes. I don't see anyone doing a tutorial about putting the pics with the album. -Kris

The main reason I do not show pictures in my mini albums is because I'm not comfortable showing pics of my grandchildren. Which is who most of my mini albums are for. I do show photos in my beach themed mini album that I created for my daughters trip to Hawaii.
