@@jwm4ever as a recent convert, I think it was a few things.. Teresa was not that great at expressing herself and so some things came across wrong. Also, now that I’ve converted, I see that Melissa will take advantage of that and fill in words for Teresa that could be taken another way. So that manipulated the narrative for me a bit. I didn’t understand Teresa’s adamance against having her family on the show because I thought well why couldnt they be allies against everyone the way Caroline was with her family. Also, there was more aggression from Teresa in general and Melissa isn’t aggressive like that (Joe not included cause he’s a mess) Maybe I had a soft spot for Melissa cause we share the same name 😂 but now I hate that she has my name lol. Also, I have a brother and a husband who can be stubborn so I understood that you can’t just make people do stuff the way Teresa always wanted Melissa to make Joe do whatever. But I understand what she’s saying regarding husband/wife influence. And! When Melissa first came on, Jacqueline and others mentioned how Teresa warned them about Melissa and to stay away from her. So it seemed like Teresa was trying to keep Melissa and Joe down and hidden; which was their entire storyline! So I just fell for it and that was the lens I saw things through. In hindsight I understand what Teresa was saying because she could spot that Melissa was attention-seeking.

Yes God brought Luis to her. Luis saw on WWHL most people didn’t like it when he tried to get involved in a negative way with the relationship with his wife and brother. I was also happy when the men clued Luis in on Italian family and traditions and respectability. Luis went from encouraging reconciliation, to getting involved negatively. Hopefully he goes back to encouraging his wife and brother-in-law to reconcile. Teresa invited her brother and his wife to all her events and parties. On each occasion Joe refused to go making up a myriad of feeble accusations. On the contrary, Teresa went to their 80’s party where she was given cold shoulder by both. She never made a scene about that and kept her cool. She didn’t choose Melissa to be her bridesmaid for obvious reason because she was not 100% happy for her. When Melissa was bitching about that Teresa being the peace maker offered her to be a bridesmaid, again her offer was refused. At the mens event, Joe raged on Luis like a maniac for no reason at all. She has routinely thrown away her family and has never felt that there is something very wrong with this. Last week, Gia even told her mother, Teresa, that after she marries Louie, that she will never speak to her mother ever again. Id have to say i rock with Teresa. Shes been through it and then some and came out stronger and sweeter than ever! Shes real as it gets. Shes been wrong before buttt still real. Im glad she got through it all and came out a greater version of herself. She is Jersey to the core and the OG of the show. Shes showed ugly behavior before from a hurt scared or confused place but as i said came out a greater version of herself. I love her and her relationship with her girls so much! God bless her new union 🙏 and as for her little bro and sis in law, they need to live for themselves and their family for now cause this constant attack on tre is a really telling sit on their side. Noo.e and i mean noone should come between siblings like that when they are whats left of the family. As attractive as melissa is the ugly jealousy is showing.
