Godspeed Teresa! So excited for your whole family! FYI I just watched a homebirth online and the midwife gave the mom two plastic combs to hold in her hand to squeeze for pain deterrence. Like the bristles of the plastic comb were against her palm and thumb. The mom said it really helped for the most intense moments to squeeze the combs. Can't wait to hear how it all goes and learn about your new little one. Thanks for sharing your journey with us.

If it makes you feel any better I did tonnes of spinning babies and my second child was optimal prior to my home birth but both my babies turned posterior during labour so I wouldn’t worry too much about the positioning. These babes do what they will! Just remember, posterior is just another variation of normal and it just requires a different approach - more time, no rushing, I found I couldn’t sit or lie down at all so things to lean on as you stand are helpful. Also the tens machine is a godsend for posterior Labours. I could kick myself that I didn’t use one in my first birth because it was more effective than the birth pool for my second! Best of luck, sending happy birthing vibes. Home births are the absolute best. You are going to love it!

Good luck 🍀 can't wait to here her name 😍 xx my sister has four and her first was a back to back she said it was such a hard labour 🙄 although the next three had to be cesarean which was not easy either x they do not call it labour for nothing I waited a long time for my family and the pain was worth every tear to get here ❤️
