Astoundingly sacred. I am not a mother, and though I wanted to be I never was blessed with the chance. This brought tears to my eyes, such a peaceful, powerful experience. It is very humbling to watch life being brought into this world through the love of a mother. Thank you for sharing, especially with those of us who haven't had the chance.

Watching season 3 and remembered I hadn’t seen Prairie’s birth vlog so here I am and it’s so lovely. As a doula, seeing your husband doing the hip squeeze in your labor gave me life! Mark and Teresa are to incredibly generous parents sharing part of such an intimate area of their lives.Since when do celebrities(I hate that title) or Public Figures let their fans into this area of their lives?They don"t.I have loved and admired both of them for a long time and this really is a gift for us who want to be closer to our entertainers and not in an EFFED up way.I am commenting way after this but i dint give a F.Thank you Mark and Teresa.I wish you health and happiness on your family building journey!!

Oh my gosh, first a big Congratulations once again, you were surrounded by all your loved ones and that was absolutely beautiful you surely have the support of a wonderful husband. You made childbirth look so very easy although the pain was there, really it looked so easy. My second daughter just two hours one big push and no drugs and baby in my arms. This was such a beautiful love story of Prairie and thank you for sharing she also shares the same Birthdate as my second daughter Heidi.

I've seen videos on what is termed "the golden hour" after birth where the mum and baby rest quietly and breastfeeding occurs. It looks lovely and less traumatic than the baby being whisked away, cleaned, poked, prodded and vaccinated before being returned to mum. In a perfect world, I would choose a birth the way Prairie Moon came into the world however, I really have mixed feelings about this. A friend of mine planned a home birth with a doula/midwife. Unfortunately, things went pear-shaped. An ambulance was called and an emergency c-section performed. The staff worked on the baby but couldn't save her. Something happened with the umbilical cord and oxygen was cut off. If the goal is a live birth, I think I would choose a hospital and hope they can honour "the golden hour" after the birth. At least there would be immediate medical intervention in case it's needed. Teresa is really lucky to have birthed 4 healthy kids!

It almost looked sexual. When I had my child, I looked like a monster. There was absolutely NOTHING sexy about it. I wonder how these celebrities wear heels also while being pregnant. My ankles were so swollen I could barely even wear shoes, then all of a sudden they are back to being thin. This just does not compute in my brain AT ALL.
