යකාගේ පඩිපෙළ | Devil’s Staircase (Ohiya to kalupahana) | Most Dangerous Trail in Sri Lanka

Around the world are several natural and man-made formations that have earned the name ‘the Devil’s Staircase’. Amongst them, Sri Lanka has one of the most dangerous. This famous route is a 22 km long trail of sharp zig-zag twists that are extremely steep and difficult, but quite thrilling to drive a 4 WD. I started the drive from Ohiya to Kalupahana without any backup Vehicle.
The trail is very narrow with uneven stones. There are places where the road has exactly same as the width of the Vehicle. If you are trying this track make sure that your vehicle doesn't have any troubles along this unmanned way. Also make sure that your Tires are very new as as it will not be possible to replace the tires on this road, due to lifting is not possible.
I did this with my Terios 4 WD and had a awesome experience along the way. This 22 KM track is very nice with range of mountains, Water Falls, Wild Flowers, Water Streams etc.
