So, this is how I feel at the moment. But it’s not to bad, I am getting used to it all now. If you check yesterday’s video you will see I’m struggling but it’s important to understand how bad things actually are.
Fighting is hard but made easier knowing I have such a loving and supportive family and mass of beautiful followers. You make it worth documenting now.

Dan please speak to the palliative care team about your pain. I know it’s hard to get the balance right in terms of pain management and the sedative effect of the drugs but please don’t suffer if you don’t have to. im not sure if it would work for you Dan but even benzodiazapines can block pain and relax you and help you sleep.. I know they are addictive but at this point the goal is to live as comfortable as possible. bless you always and forever ❤

I had been on Taxol for almost two weeks when I was sitting in a deli eating lunch. When I went to wipe my mouth, my entire beard came off into my napkin! Mate, you are going to be as smooth as the day you were born, but just know you are fighting back. That makes you a winner! That makes you a hero to many! That is what hope is all about. I am a Hospice nurse. There are meds for the pain and nausea which I know you know. But please take them. The drowsiness will get less as your body gets used to the meds and you may even be able to do more things and have more strength to keep fighting. Love you!

Deborah Dobbs they used "comfort" drugs for my aunt who was dealing with cancer they essentially put my aunt to sleep like a freaking dog!!!

I remeber being afraid to go to sleep when I was going through chemo. I felt like my face was melting off when I lost my eyebrows & eyelashes. It strips you bare of your humanity... & beyond. I turned 30 on my last day of radiation. I was dreading turning 30 before the cancer. I was damn happy to still be around when I turned 30. My husband was beyond a saint for putting up with me. Having someone with you makes all the difference.

Dan, I feel like this is the most real story I have ever watched. I feel like people will be watching this for a very long time. Honestly, has anything like this really been done? I feel like you have set a standard and that your videos, words, strength, and love will help so many people dealing with an illness (whatever it may be) and others dealing with a loved one that has an illness. Yea heard a lot about that happening to people that get acute radiation sickness. They get sick, feel better and then rapidly decline. But did not know it was a thing in other terminally ill patients.

Hilary C & EA I read about a near death experience where a person died went to heaven and the person was told in heaven to go back to earth their work wasn't done and their terminal illness would be completely healed. This is a recorded MIRACLE and the person was completely healed. The doctors could not explain how the person was healed! Miracles do happen in this world! The power of prayer works! 🕊

EA I never said it did. Marijuana provides relief from the intense pain of cancer. Cancer patients around the world use it because they can get pain relief without being doped up and turned into zombies. I'm in Canada and it's been used for years. I also have lost 4 people in the last 5 years to Cancer, and each used marijuana to keep that horrible pain at bay. That the UK hasn't allowed this yet, is horrific and cruel.

Thank you for doing what you do. I found you and Emily when I was diagnosed with a rare ovarian cancer but I was fortunate enough to be stage one in March at that time but we know it's going to come back and it's chemo/radiation resistant. I know I'm one day going to be in your shoes and I hope that I can be as strong, persistent and loving life regardless of the situation as you. I understand the bad days and there's days where I want to end it now but I know I've got a few years at least and you and Emily keep giving me that attitude to go on. Oh Dan you are a legend but please listen to your body rest and enjoy the time you have with your beautiful wife and family, sometimes it's better to not fight to live for the moment and savour every second.i never thought I would say that to you but your time here is limited and as much as I love seeing your videos I want you to know that you are in my thoughts and prayers daily I am sure I write for a lot of people when I say take it easy let yourself rest when you can if you miss a day putting up a vlog rest assured we will all still be thinking of you. If I could change places with you I would I have lived 62 yrs and have been diagnosed with cancer but God works in a strange way . It's so bloody unfair to see this happen to you.

Respect to your positive attitude, no matter what happens it's your outlook that kept you going and your will the fights back more then any treatment or med. Don't give up! I remember my father when he had cancer back in 1996, he was 56. He was comatose when I was with him on his last day, but I could still feel his strength and when I told him he was a great father and to let go if he's ready, I'll be with him before he knows it, right then he took his last breath. :( My pops was the strongest man I knew and you remind me of his strength and determination, only you know when your too tired to fight anymore. You're never gone when you're loved, live on Bro.

Aww Dan, I'm so sorry to hear about your intense pain. Pain that bad really messes with your head, I know. You ssid that this last week has been the best you have felt in a while, for that I am happy for you. Whether it's the new chemo helping or the endorphins from the extreme happiness you have felt by marrying your true love. Also I feel that animals are great therapy, I have 2 cats and I think they are a great calming influence, plus they just make me happy. My mom went through the changes and how things tasted also. I understand the agony you were facing from watching my mother. Of course, I can’t personally feel it the way you do, but I know how loving someone so much and watching them hurt so terribly can be.
