Fact about darkest lariat: everyone knows it can ignore defense buffs, but it can ALSO IGNORE EVASIVENESS BUFFS. And with a base power of 80, its a solid attack. And if you got stab, ho baby

tbf Incineroar makes more sense to get the fighting type over cinderace, but I´m sure they didn´t do it because there´s already 3 of them

Its kinda crazy SwSh had all the starters pure types. Spose they fugured they had to nerf starters because rhey get stabs on 2 types AND have higher stats than others But PRIMERINA'S TYPING IS BAD? NONSENSE! Prim's liquid hyper voice is stab and hits all enemies. Fairy is good against the dual typers to combat its over weaknesses, it xan put enemies to sleep, AND it knows a lotta ither djverse moves. If incineroar wasnt a problem, i think she'd be trouble

In a starter royale, Primarina's Fairy-typing _only_ helps it against Umbreon, Chesnaught, Hisuian Decidueye, Hisuian Samurott and Meowscarada. It's also an active hindrance against Venusaur and Empoleon, removing its otherwise-resistance to Steel moves, and leaving it weak to Poison. (And Primarina with only its natural moveset _really_ has no way to deal with either).

@@wastelandlegocheem The problem is, Venusaur does _that_ better given that it has the good Sleep Powder, whereas Primarina has to use Sing, which has odds to hit that are barely better than a Dynamic Punch coinflip (Base 55% accuracy... yikes). It doesn't help that Venusaur is faster than Primarina, to boot (no, really. Primarina is base 60 [remember, it comes from Aslowla] while Venusaur is base 80).
