I hear ya. I think it was because of the time it was made. Things were a little more violent on tv. And the guys who marketed these toys were from a different generation. Makes me wonder if we’ll ever have any form of toys that are centered around R-rated movies again.

While it wasn't necessarily evil in the sense that it was being malicious and killing for fun, it was trying to kill a child, which is morally wrong in all cultures. So I'm fine with them calling it "Evil". Skynet may have just been trying to keep from being shut down when it began its war on humans, but its goal of genocide of the human species is evil... From a human point of view. :p
