Says a lot that the 90's version of this actually had a better design overall (the mould was smaller so you didn't get that extra waste all around the body, and the hinge was metal so opening and closing it was easier). The cyberskin powder is just flesh coloured dental alginate. In fact, Alginoplast (fast set) has exactly the same colour. It won't hold up very well and will shrink into white crumble after a few days, also it does a splendid job at staining clothes and couches when in liquid form.

The bio-flesh that went with the original terminator toy in the 90's actually used a type of dental alginate product to make the 'bio-flesh' typically was a light green colour but I suppose they dyed it pink for the toy. As such if you had the right connections you could ask your dentist for some and really get arrested.

I had the the Terminator 2 version of the generator when I was a kid... I used it once and never looked at it again. Plus, the head reveal when removing the skin near the end of the video brought back memories of the witch doctor scene at the end of Betelgeuse.
