I wonder how's that accurate to in-lore explanation of read only memory setting preventing Ts from learning. In this case T3 would be completely inaccurate since Arnie used that "talk to the hand" trick, though there was never stated he had his read only switch turned off, unless it was done before the time travel. That would actually make sense in regard to T2 plot where John learned about this feature. And since The Judgment Day came anyway, he could in fact use that knowledge to re-enable Arnie's learning capability just before sending him back in time. That would be pretty neat to be honest

The read only switch was in a deleted scene and not canon. Terminators learn new behaviour based on their environment to help them blend in.
