Nice to see the awesome roman/greek elite units and generals I made for this mod for the Achean Rebellion. One of my best creations. Great mod, great KZbinr for TW games. You brought a lot of great mods to my attention, sadly I did not find time to play them yet haha.

HforHavoc really used to play this mod a lot, it was back in 2015 I came across this mod - and again, a great video once again man! And correct on pointing out Attila has amazing mods - for a game that has modding tools that are the least...restrictive in some ways, just looking at what's coming out of those mods is like going back to the glory days of Rome total war and Med 2 modding!

This brought great memories. I had a +100 mod list for this one. I used it mainly because most of rome stayed loyal to each other and kept themselves strong for a much longer time than vanilla, which meant playing with any germanic faction was actually much tougher and fun, while at the same time the division offered big options for betrayals and massive wars to happen between the torn imperial subfactions. Ageless empires is also a great alternative with more faction variety, also made by terminus and slightly less polished. The advantage of all terminus mods is that you could include every single campaing and battle mods you would want as long as they didnt edit start pos.

I hope you realize that at some point we, your subscribers, are going to pressure you into releasing a "best of mods" list for each of these games ... Attila, Rome 2, Napoleon, Shogun 2, etc. where based on your playing experiences, you rank the top 5 for each total war game! Hint! Hint! :)

Love these videos. My biggest problem is that I have gimped myself with the amazing fruits of Divide et impera for rome 2 that every other mod for any total war just feels stale for me. Eagles and europa mods for attila do get close but it just doesnt satisfy.

My only gripe with this mod is you're a Teuton prince, marry a Hunnic princess, she births what seems to be a Hunnic baby but then they pop into maturity and they're a generic Teuton. Wish there was a way to edit genetics.

Update: I played as the Achäan Rebellion, steamrolled Macedonia, foundet the corinthian Empire, builded up my economy and after that I steamrolled the Roman Hegemony. Focusing on Byzanz now. Their Units are the sickest that i ever saw in a TW-Mod. Return with your shield or on it!. Hail Sparta \o/

The War Weariness mechanic may be realistic, but doesn't work all that well as a game. Players don't need a greater incentive to avoid a loss; to the contrary, they need an incentive to accept a loss, rather than just reloading.

I have never played a Total War game where losing is fun. Instead, I always reload. This is a far more unrealistic to have a single faction that never loses a battle than War Weariness that only further punishes losses.

The cavalry in these historical war games need a charge button, that makes them charge. Just walking your cav into the flanks of your enemy is kinda lacking.

Its not a historical accurate mod. The last roman emperor didnt died in 395 AD but in 1453 AD . And the empire also didn't fall 395 . Its capital after the fall of Rome was nova Roma aka Constantinople and there was never a byzantine empire. The term is anachronistic and false. I will not be playing this mod i suppose :P

I didn’t say its historically accurate, just that its a realistic alternate history. The roman Empire could have just as easily split off into different provinces and seen rebellions here and there thats the point. If you don’t like that no worries :)
