As said at the end of the video, I will be busy quite soon, so uploads will definitely slow. However, this won't stop me from beating Empires of the Undergrowth Full Release!

As said before, these Empires of the Undergrowth episodes are the first videos where I've used Davinci Resolve 19 to edit. They are also the first videos where I've tried to develop and editing style and KZbin persona (basically just myself lol), so I do hope any of you watching do forgive me during this learning process. On the plus side, after realizing this mistake, I should know everything I need to know for the future! 😅

Unlike ants, termites are born as a small white version of themselves, and can have both males and females in the colony as workers or soldiers, unlike ants that only have females (sterilized, only the queen can lay eggs) Fun fact: Queen army ants fill with eggs as much as queen termites during the stationary phase, with the driver queen ant being the largest of the queens.

The fact that they don't pupate like most species of ants do just doesn't sit right with me xD Also never knew they could have normal males in the colony, that's cool Eventually, many many many years down the line, I'd LOVE to see a Dorylus queen or be able to play an army ant colony They truly are massive lol

@@Octorebel That's why their egg is not an egg but a smaller version of themselves. It is confirmed that the Army and Driver will not be in the game as complete colonies, but using programming I have managed to create functional colonies of these species.

Oooooh, functional colonies?? now that's cool. I knew Slug Disco said they'd never really properly be in the game to play, but I knew people with skills like you would get creative 👍

That's how termites really looks in real life they have to look that way because they evolve million of years ago, and the Termite queen 👑 is not always look like that with big swollen abdomen in the past the Termite queen 👑 is small just like the termite king but the queen get so pregnant that the abdomen swells up with fertilized eggs 🥚 and when the eggs hatch the youngest ones are called nyinps,

There are two type of Worker's⚒️ termite in the nest, the first one is a miner worker only working at the nest duty, caring food build the mount bigger taking care of the brood and taking care of the royal Termite queen 👑 and King 👑, and the second one is called major worker's there only job is to get decaying woods and making fungus, only when they get attack by they old enemies like ants the termites solder are build like tank's with big heads filled with muscle's to cut the ants body apart

Thanks for the info! 👍 I know a TON about ants (I'm trying to keep some as pets too :D), but never knew too much about termites. I did know the queens swelled up a lot, but never knew why lol. Nor did I know about the young hatchling names haha. Again, thanks!
