Hi ya! I'm an ebike convert but wasn't sure what I wanted when I bought one. That being a German made bike with mid motor. Since then I have come to marvel all the things an ebike can accomplish and places and distance and weight you carry doesn't matter any more type of riding not to mention fishing and touring the back trails etc, etc. But you know all this anyway. All new to me but... Carrying cargo is far better on an ebike that was designed specifically for in the first place, such as the versatility of the Tern. I have seen so many since my ebike purchase with all sorts of configurations between personal and business I've decided to get one but there is one area of concern which is load over the front wheel. Is there handling issues if you go over a certain weight? What about front with rear weight, does it get a bit wobbly? I'm thinking smaller wheels with a lower centre of gravity would negate that but I have yet to test ride one.

Hi, I’m planing to buy the Weather top bag, and a rack of course. But the Transporter Rack seams to be to big for my future use: metro , train. Do you know if the Weather top bag can be easily fixed on the Hauler Rack? Will it be still stable? Thank you
@BikeShopGirl Жыл бұрын
I use it on both! It’s certainly more stable on the transporteur but the hauler holds the same weight. I just have an extra strap to keep it secure side to side.

Hi Arleigh, I want to use my Gazelle C8 for grocery shopping and such, and thought panniers, i.e., saddlebags, would make the most sense, to keep the weight low and balanced. the prices range from as low as $25 to well over $200, but I wonder if the more expensive ones are meant for camping and are more rugged and weatherproof than I need. Any recommendations? One ebike shop here in Orange county carries only Arkel bags and panniers, and they are very much on the expensive side. Any recommendations? Thanks!

First of all, thank you for all the helpful videos. I just ordered a HSD and plan to use it to drive my 7 year old son 7km to school every day. I am a little unsure if we should go straight for the captains chair with the sidekick joyride bars. I'm especially worried that he might just fall out of it during a hard stop. The Clubhouse mini with mad pad seems a bit safer and maybe more comfortable, but I don't know how much longer my son will fit in it. Unfortunately, we were only able to test the Captains Chair... I would be grateful for any advice.

The captains chair and joyride bars are pretty secure but personally I plan on keeping my 7yo in the clubhouse mini for as long as she can get into it

@@BikeShopGirl Hi, I just ordered the Captain's Chair for my 7, almost 8 year old. He's fairly tall at 53" and at 66 lbs. I decided to skip the clubhouse mini. That feels like the right choice but I haven't tried yet. I am stuck on what to do for his legs. I don't think the side kick foot rests are ideal yet for him. And I'd rather not just get the stirrups for the one function. 1- Is there some sort of rear bag that doubles as a place for his feet? 2- would that bag also double as a mud guard? and 3- Should I get mud fenders if I plan to bike in the rain, or are the standard fenders sufficient? We won't be off roading - just back and forth in town. Thanks!

Hey Alex! Congrats on the new accessories. Is this all on the HSD? I use the cargo hold 37 bags for exactly what I use with my 8 year olds feet most days. On rainy days, I close the bags and she has her legs over them like riding a fat horse
