I agree with other comments, It’s too much not sure what’s driving the price if this compared to similar costing 1/3?

On top of having one of the best and most reliable electric system in the world, it also have high quality Shimano components and. The combination of the mechanical and electric parts make the price what it is, high quality folding frames are also most costly to make since the design has to have much more attention to detail. It's still even to this day considered the top of the line folding electric bike.

Engineering wise it is a strong plus , but the price will probably go down when ramped up and other manufacturers knock off features.

The Gocycle is more portable and leightweight, and the Vektron has more range and luggage carrier options, so whichever fits your needs best!

This seems the perfect folding ebike so far...now, I want: the weight to go down significantly; batteries to be instant charging; either cost to go down or my income to increase, not fussed which, and finally; roads to be redesigned everywhere to allow segregated riding! Not much :)

30+ sales so far and no you most certainly wouldn't ;) ..and that's just from our shop, dealers across the country are selling just as much if not more :) Might want to read up on the technology behind a Bosch system, along with the quality behind Tern's frames. Knowledge is power!

Considering this is a top of the line motor system, with high end components, the price is actually very reasonable. There are regular bikes with some of these components that cost just as much.
