Teron Makes Midroll LEAPERS Into A Powerhouse Comp!

I think we have a new king of the LEAPERS composition! Move over N'Zoth because Teron is our new King. While less flashy, being able to spawn extra taunted golden frogs gets that guaranteed early stack rolling. And when you don't have a way to snipe Baron... it's over before you even get to the Macaw hits. The biggest weakness of typical frogs is mostly fixed... that's kinda crazy!

Great video as always! Teron feels like a hero that was introduced to force leapers, as this video showcases his hero power facilitates it so much and also gives you some early power if you find any deathrattles

yep leapers and anub'arak are pretty consistent lines. If both are in the game then you can typically get some direction toward one of the two. Then if you miss midgame at least you have moderate tempo and can pivot for a decent finish.

Isn't the ideal board: x1 golden leapfrogger reborn taunted x1 Taunted sewer rat x1 reborn sewer rat x2 golden maccaw reborn x1 golden rat reborn x1 golden baron respectively as I mention it, thes will definitely protect the baron just enough to snowball and help the maccaws go off

If you can just magically pop out a full comp, then reborn frog is suboptimal because then it's a single frog attacking and giving just 2/2 * barons amount of leaps, but a macaw attacking is already ramping exponentially on the second or even first attack depending on order. You should only reborn frog for tempo to have more turns for finding key cards.

You can actually refrace this question depending on the hero Greybough , nzoth and scaps/tess in nzoth lobby for the last one i would say you have ass many fish as you want

Depends heavily on the situation for sure. Different boards are more robust vs cleave/ghoul/etc. But yeah, some combo of those cards make for different optimal counters. The longer you can protect baron the better, since there are very, very few comps that outstat leapers atm. FWIW, we've had lategame optimal states where the only way to win was 2x runaway macaws in Position 5/6. It's super rare, but one of the only ways to deal with 100k+ meme boards and such.

Out of about the 10 times (I only play a couple times per day) that I've been offered Teron, I've only had beasts in the lobby once. Was a first place though.
