Technically, the Servants are the easiest to play, the Resistance is the easiest of the "hostile to aliens" factions. Probably - I don't know if there is really that much difference between Humanity First and Resistance. In a general sense, the phases of the game from my experience are: 1) Early Game : Secure Research, Mission Control, $$ Cash, Popular support, and Boost resources via controlling nations. 2) Boost into space : You need to research techs to reduce cost to enter space, secure generally at least 1 moon base to help you get to Mars or the Asteroid Belt for beginning the space game. Additionally, in this phase you need to research & complete your line of "story" techs and objectives, ultimately to unlock your first faction organization and get to the strategic deception tech which allows you to greatly expand your space presence. 3) Construct Earth orbital infrastructure to vastly improve your tech speed and nation building. Secure a nation or group of nations with at least 4 armies with attached navies for earth defense against invasion which generally start occuring 2031+. The smaller military force you have, the more you should have nukes to supplement them. Begin killing Alien councillors and reducing alien flora and fauna on earth. 4) Develop techs and resources for defense fleets (Drive, power source, weapons, armor) around main solar bodies that you have invested in. At some point aliens will transition to total war against you, and it will become a race between your space infrastructure and fleet building vs the aliens increasing attacks, as you need to transition into first clearing aliens, servants, and protectorate out of the inner solar system and asteroid belt. 5) ultimately send invasion fleets to clear the aliens off of Jupiter and Beyond. Also, through until the early late game (Where your control of an overwhelming % of earth control points will set a negative relationship cap with most or all other factions) you should make efforts to bribe the other factions and judge the impact of your decisions upon the other factions before taking them. The AI does not react like a "Human". It treats anyone which has taken enough actions against them as being at war with them, and doesn't treat the aliens as a "greater" threat. Since your councillors, control points, and stations will often be an easier target than aliens, being an a**hole to other factions can see you dogpiled by 30 enemy councillors AND the aliens. And assassinating their councillors doesn't make them go away, it just makes them hate and target you more. The Inter-faction diplomacy game is one of the more important aspects of the game that players aren't prepared for.

Hey I'd just like to say that Terra Invicta doesnt have much youtube content, and I love your approach in this series so far. Keep it Up! I hope to see one for every faction :)

Just one extra note - I took this video down because I've realised just how 'barebones' the strategies are - but then relisted it! if you are looking for step by step detail then this video won't help but if you are looking for a general game plan strategy, this is a good starting place!

Nice summary of strategic objectives. An idea for future videos, something that is seldom covered is inter-faction relationships, what you can do, and what is desirable to do. Just a thought.

Nice idea - thanks! I was planning to release a video for each faction but I realised that actually the approach and strategies are largely the same, even if the objectives are not. I'll have a think about the idea that you suggested though for sure.
