When god were rookies they didn't have the same access to their seniors/sunbaes and were ignored by H.O.T/Sechs Kies backstage because of the whole "mysterious" image thing pushed by SM & DSP and idol groups were discouraged from mixing together. That's why when they themselves became sunbaes they were more open to their hoobaes. A lot of the 2nd gen, esp SuJu and the JYP kids (2PM/2AM/WG), call them hyung/oppa.
