Wrong protocol. Spoiling the look of tiles . Use waterproof adhesion in tile joints.. it's transparent and give clear looks. Very strong bonding between tiles.

not to say anything, but if you spread the grout so as not to work so hard you can pull it with a handle and the large glass squeegee, and then wipe with a damp sponge

If brain is used properly u could inject the cement slurry through gapes using material injectors (like gun which is used by UPVC window makers to fill joints after fitting) which would save material & labour.

From my experience, We have pasted white matt finish vitrified tiles on the terrace. The white surface actually reflects heat better than the terracotta tiles which become moldy and discoloured over time. In order to make it completely waterproof, we have to lay the tiles using minimum 5mm spacers and fill it with waterproof grout or weather proof PU grout that will last for a long time. We can even stand in the terrace on a hot tropical summer afternoon. The only downside was since tiles are white the floor might be a bit bright to look at...

@@srshankar29I agree... white vitrified tiles be it glossy or matt reflects heat and you can water-proof if laid with 5 mm spacer using PU grout on roof-tops/terrace. This set-up is not-good if temperature rises above 40°C in hot summer. My place it touched 45°C. Unbearable. Can't walk on bare-foot. Last resort, I painted as no other options exist..

Wtf. They turn bright red tiles into ugly finished tiles. They lack the skill in laying tiles properly. They have to use grouting to fill the gaps and wipe off excess grout with wet sponge immediately. Sad but that’s the quality of labor you find in India these days

For those who r seeing only that shining brink turns dirty ... See those working person his hands nd legs fully filled with cement dust... Those dust in the the bricks can be cleaned by washing... But for him even after washing his hand some cement dust will inside his nails... And his hand would have got wounds... Bricks can be changed often but for working ppls once their hands and legs r gone nothing can be done... Think of ppls
