hello! I'm planning to hand on all information I will get about the finds as soon as I have them. unfortunately it is not possible to tell you about the place where I've found the relics as I would jeopardize the source. I would love to make a video together with an archaeologist and talk about the finds but I fear that most of them consider it to be inappropriate to be seen in a video together with a metal detectorist. maybe at some point in the future :) thank you for watching and for your kind comment!

it's always a riddle how finds came to the places where they are being found. I just hope I didn't destroy a burial.. I was digging without extra caution as the finds where exactly on an ancient track and I didn't assume archaeological features in a hollow way. fact is that bronze age people used to bury people at the sides of ancient tracks. I think the archaeologists would have told me when I handed in the find. thank you for watching!

TerraGermania Yes sir, when I visit i certainly wont be able to bring a metal detector. There are so many things above ground in Germany that I have not seen that I will be too preoccupied to metal detect. Thanks for explaining the law for me as well.

What a great hobby 👍🏻 One day, when I don’t have to work 12 hours a day anymore, I’ll maybe doing it too. We here in Germany/ Europe have a lot of History hidden in the ground. I’ve found several lead musket& even one small canon cartridges in my garden in the middle of Stuttgart.

it is a great hobby :) make sure that you detect according to the detecting laws in germany. you need a permission which you can obtain from the respective department of archaeology. thank you for watching!

i could believe that,those things are very nice finds,few years ago i found a bronze age spearhead in a wood near my hometown Stein,have search there for i guess 400 hours and one day i found it (: could not believe it that a bronze age weapen lies there in the soil but it was haha! cheers!
