Permanent for a Library set due to keeping stuff together. Also I batch spray up weapons and packs to mix into your rubble sauce.

I think a permanent ruin would be a bit better, with the dump method it seems like a lot of the actual structure is covered, and a bit of a mess to try and fit guys in with. With the permanent you can control it so it looks right but doesn't interfer with gameplay.

Public use: Permanent rubble.

These ruins start to look good 👍 I think I will go for permanent rubble glued to the ruins.

Keep it permanently on, otherwise you wil loose it. Second option: make a fitting scenery that fits into a corner, so that people can choose to play with or without the rubble

I've only ever seen permanent rubble on terrain. However, I've only ever gotten to use shared terrain from stores, and I think that's a big factor. Having a bunch of small bits of rubble means more stuff to add, more stuff to handle, and more stuff to clean. It also presents more breaking or at least dirtying opportunities, especially being smaller, fiddly bits thrown in a box. I think that loose rubble would be something I safe for my personal collection and would perhaps bring to the store when I want to be fancy with it. It does looks nice and it can be moved around to tell a story or to make new terrain (defenders fortifying the rubble), but I just don't think it will survive well or much benefit use as a public item, which is what you seem to want to do.

A combination is like always the best. Glue small scatter into corners etc, and have a bag of scatter to throw all over when setting up. This makes for the most realistic look.

I've made 25mm wood/brick piles with super glue, along with cable spools, trash bags, oil drums, etc., as scatter terrain for games I host. People like taking pictures of them, but I wouldn't use them in a game library/shop. Scattering too many small pieces caused some anxiety and, honestly, laying out a cohesive scatter piece like the setup CD Bo made can be more visually appealing as a small diorama - and provides cover as "ruins". The very small scatter pieces I have made are just for visual effect, not intended for cover; although, we discuss this before the game. Sometimes, opponents want to use a stack of oil drums as cover, and we do, but it's those small "devils in the details" that make the game more enjoyable.

As the scenaries will be borrowed as a free library, I would suggest permanent rubbles

Is there not a 3rd option? Unless I’ve mistaken your ‘fixed’ option. Rubble fixed on a number of small bases (mdf?) perhaps some shaped so could fit in a corner others more random shapes to go central in rooms or just outside ruined building. Gives more variety but is also practical than loose rubble.

Love the doll house wallpaper, is that purchased or do you use a laser printer? If so, what kind of paper are using. Love the MDF add-ons

@@oldachm so the wallpaper is just printed on standard printerpapir from the internet. It needs some protection after the build is finished
