Horizon use an AC motor in the top of the range mobility scooter as it has grater torque excuse me but would it not improve you scooter for offload abilitys?

This is not any use to a paralysed disabled person. I see the lady featured can quite easily transfer from her own chair and obviously has control of her torso. For someone paralysed from the bust down its of no use, no supports at the side either.

My brother is handicapped with Osteogenesis Imperfecta and he owns one. Its completely changed his life. He finds a way for all of the above negatives you mentioned. If you want it, you have to go get it. It may not be easy and its not for him.....but he does it.

The much less outdoors-capable mid-wheel drive chair www.magicmobility.com.au/wheelchairs/frontier-v6-compact-73-electric-wheelchair/ that I have on order will be a star indoors and in urban areas with seat elevate and tilt for $14.4k USD (at today's currency exchange rate), but it could not do those slopes, terrains or creek beds.

I do agree with you that amount of money is crazy especially for the disabled who are in receipt of PIP and Esa or are retired I own a strider st6 and it does alot of whats mentioned and more and it keeps me dry and safe

Let me guess.. 9 miles per charge? 8 hrs to charge and top speed 5 mph? Hahahah. And price? To the moon. How close am I ? Until these jerkoff's start build a chair with with full on LiPo batteries for range of no less than 50 miles of real world miles. And a 2 hrs recharge time. and a minimum A MINIMUM Top speed of 15 mph SUCK IT. Why waist all that money on low grade electronics period. This thing has rnet electronics hahahaha. It should have Tesla electric car electronics.
