i have terramaster nas, would be interesting to hear how to setup second backhaul ethernet from nas to PC without router Sometimes if i download something by using fixed IP on second ethernet card, traffic still goes through slow connection (1 gigabit for example through router instead of 2.5 gigabit through direct attached lan cable from nas to pc)

I stuff up the first stage. How do I wipe the lot so I can start from the very beginning

That wasn't correct about adding the shared folder as a mapped network drive. You didn't add the folder that you created and it never showed up under networks
