KZbin, why is this restricted? This is classic music from a great band.
@ront.94144 ай бұрын
KZbin. Thank you for providing us with excellent music videos for all of these years. But, I must ask the question, why has restrictions been placed on this excellent rendition of Terraplane Blues? Their’s no graphic content or violent imagery. In fact, it’s a modern version of a great Blues song. Foghat deserves recognition for their excellent performance and a sincere apology from KZbin.

Damn KZbin Censoring. This song is a foundation song for Rock n Roll. Thank you Robert Johnson for this Gem and thank you Foghat for recreating it. ❤️

You know the band's okay when the lead guitarist is playing an old SG with a slide. I've loved Foghat since the first time I heard them in the 70s. Aaahhh the memories.

Great version of this song with Charlie Huhn taking lonesome Daves place and Brian Basset taking Rod Prices place. Both of these guys played with various original Foghat members at times in the past. They are much more than capable!!!

I was so fortunate to see the original line up reunited again at a bar/club in Bloomington Indiana in 1998-99 (killed a few brain cells since then) if memory serves. Lonesome Dave, Roger Earl, Tony Stevens and the unforgettable Rod Price. They burnt the place down they were so freaking HOT. Sadly it wasn't too long afterward that Lonesome Dave passed away. It was an unforgettable performance. Wish I could remember the name of the venue(changed since then).

offensive?? really? Ya, it's an old Robert Johnson song and rumors of crossroads, hoodoo, and blues (the devils music as most religious folks called it because some African American men back then made money at the Juke Joints on Saturday nights and missed church on Sunday mornings. So the old pastors back in the day would tell the mostly female congregation that those blues were the devils music) yes, there may be some subtle references to the car \and a woman\ and sex, but that's up to the listener I suppose. I just hear a tune that gets you tapping your toe and making you move. But, what do I know??

I guess KZbin considers this offensive because the song sounds like it's from The South, y'all (ya know, Southerners are all "racists," according to Hollywood and the media), never mind the fact that Foghat is an English band.

@TerribleathletesАй бұрын
Lonesome Dave and Rod were Foghat. Period. I can't fault Roger for touring, he's got bills to pay, and he's nobody really on his own, so he needs to use the Foghat name to get people to come to the shows. It's literally just a tribute band with Roger on drums.

With all due respect, it's even better than Lonesome Dave. Great song. Great sound!
