Hey there! It’s good to see another video! Here are a few pieces of critique I’d like to share : - I’m unsure if you were planning this but I think it may look a lot better if you replace the twigs dropped be trees in place of full blown logs. I think it’d feel closer to the OG game along with being less jarring when you cut down trees! - In the OG terraria it’s very distinct when you get hurt, however, in this, the loud sounds accompanied by the chaos of a situation (that being an odd battle or otherwise), I think you should make the screen flash a tinge of red when you’re hit! This is to where players won’t be relying on the hit noises being blocked out by other sounds, and not having to rely on glancing at their HP as much in stressful situations - I like the revised version of EOC! You’re definitely getting there! I think it may do well with a little more down time (AKA, the EOC hovers in front of the player, or within range of the player before attacking) Otherwise I really like how this is turning out so far! Keep up the great work!! 👊❤️ Edit : The new composer you got did a great job with the new music! Especially the boss battle remix is fantastic second stage.

I'd like to add to this as well, though it isn't the updates here in this video. I'd say he should make the slimes harder to kill. Maybe make them hop a bit faster because you would usually take at least on hit from them trying to kill them, same for the king slime.

I think a brightness feature or something to make everything more visible could be added, (a night vision potion for example) as I couldn't see EOC like half the time but maybe I'm just blind. Do think it would help though. Keep it up!

I'd Recommend adding sounds to the eye of Cthulhu just because it's really silent and not very intense adding wind whistling when the boss is charging will make it way more menacing and some other sounds Keep up the good work!

man this keeps getting better. one thing i've noticed a fair bit is how incredibly dark it is at night - idk how easy it is to change but the torches go out of render distance pretty quickly. also eoc itself being near invisible against the dark ground might get frustrating so maybe make it have a faint glow? other than that, incredible work!! and props to the artist - that phase 2 remix is fire!

This looks amazing but, (i love the particles and effects A LOT.) I would add Knockback (5:12) and make the regular health bars fancier to match the terraria aesthetic. I would also make the eye of cthulhu glow maybe a bit or something because hes still pretty hard to see. Another cool idea would be making the sky islands move like actual clouds. And for summoning bosses when the items are used up i would make them pop or something since otherwise its kinda boring (for example at 5:18) the item and the particles kind of just dissapear so i would make it sort of evaporate) It would be cool if the gun had like a recoil effect when it shot since it looks weírd in the moment. ALSO MAKE IT PUBLIC PLEASE!!!!!!!!! (if possible ( legal issues.))

A suggestion for the eye of Cthulhu model, would it be possible for you to make the mouth look sharper? Because right now it looks sort of cartoony and not really threatening. Maybe also reduce the size of the lips further and make them flat as those look kinda big. I know that you said you were done with the eye for now, but it’s mainly just model changes. Now I’m no coder but I think it would look really good

You might not see this, but I recommend changing the graphics to a more flat tone that is less glossy, I think it would really improve the look of the game. Another improvement I would recommend would be making the game have less realistic textures and graphics, I just think the higher level of detail looks out of place for a game like terraria, and I feel like having realistic graphics without an extremely well built world map/world with high detail feels out of place.

love it, but i have a suggestion. Maybe add an outline to eoc that allows you to see it underground, or maybe prevent it from going underground altogether because I believe that the boss becomes a tad more unfair when you can’t determine where it is. For example, perhaps adding a cel shader that overlaps ground textures but not the player, hud or the weapon textures. Would love to see this be updated in the future.
