@IamReyver I think it should be pushed back to post DoG instead of yharon, or give it the ability to be larger, have homing, higher damage and crit, speed increase, and more archs. Upgrading the zenith would also be welcome, like being used in a crafting recipe. Even nerfing it to be pre polterghast is cool.

I think power move would be to split Zenith into two weapons, one being Broken Zenith, crafted as usual Zenith and having everything same, but overall damage lowered. Second being True Zenith, crafted post Yharon and being more powerfull version of base Zenith. Dont know why whey dont do it, and instead decided to just dunk it to few tiers higher. Strange move imho. But i can see why, Calamity team seems to almost never touch base Terraria weapons, in terms of rework

The reason EoW was so terrible is because vile spit is actually considered an npc in the game's code, not a projectile, which allows it to be broken with the player's projectiles. Therefore every vile spit was shooting with a random weapon.
