Terraria, But I Can COMBINE Weapons Together...

Have you ever wondered how weapons would look like if they were combined together? Well in this video I installed a mod that can do just that. I'll be trying to beat Terraria using bows only. Just how will these combined weapons look like and will they be strong enough to defeat the final boss Moon Lord? Stay tuned cause you're about to find out!

One thing this mod made me think of is that cross-class weapons would be an interesting idea. Imagine if certain weapons had abilities or stats that were affected by multiple combat classes, so bows that gain additional effects if you have mana to spend, summons that deal more damage if you have melee buffs, or even making boomerangs get buffs from either melee OR ranged effects. Could make for some interesting modifications to vanilla weapons or even entirely new ones

I have actually created my own example of a dual scaling weapon. If you remember the Ash Shotgun from the *Necro Mod* all the way back in 1.2, the weapon fired a burst of shots, but it used both bullets AND mana, but didn't have any dual scaling. I recreated it, but I actually made the damage scale with both bonuses. Furthermore, any hit on an enemy will return two mana, it fires 5 shots in a fixed spread, and each one can pierce one enemy, stopping on the second. It also costs 20 mana to fire. This means that with perfect circumstances you could fire it forever with a magic set up and enough mana reduction, or if you're using a ranged set you get more damage, but needs to be used sparingly so as to not burn all your mana. Additionally, it inflicts "Necrotize", a dot that does 8 damage a second, which scales with magic damage and not ranged. A lot of older mods back when most armor sets didn't do anything crazy would tend to give you a multitude of stats just on the side instead of being as specialized as they are. I think it's definitely got merit.

I actually love this idea but I made full full cross paths For example Summoner melee. Whips already got this covered but a sorta sword summon that only has an attack radius of 5 blocks around the user Summon Ranger. Simple either summons that work like projectiles aka the bee gun or summoning a gun that lags behind you and shoots enemies but also has an ammo requirement Summoner mage. Instead of using mana on Summon it will generate a temporary Summon that constantly drains mana but does nice damage this would be good for people who don't use mana so they can have extra damage

Fun Fact Necr0, you can use vein miner to insta bridge with platforms, If you hold the VM key and click with platforms It will send a volley of platforms down so you don't have to waste any time on that; although If you knew this I'm sorry to give you old news!!

No shame, it'd be a pain on the ass to make an "all bows" vid and have to spend 5x as long just from farming, but its OBVIOUS your using a drop mod so evey bow is a 100% drop. I was suspicious when EVERY treasure bad with a bow gave the bow, but (to me) the *proof* is that the goblin mage dropped the bow AND a knife. I could be completely insane, but after spending almost 10k hrs played in Terraria, I've never seen the sorcerer drop more than one drop per kill. (I once had to kill 30 from several invasions to get the knife and kept getting hex dolls and bows.)

NECR0 I have an idea for a vid you can do. Instead of custom bows you use custom arrows, a way you could make a vid on this is by getting dragonlens mod and then using the item editor to change the projectile of an ammo, then the bow would shoot that projectile. You could make it a challenge finding the ammo/weapon that has the projectile first then sacrificing it onto the ammo!
