When I first heard this in the planetoid lab, I almost shed a tear at how beautiful it is and how much it made my mind play with the lore. Man, this came quite close to making me tear up a bit. So darn beautiful... I adore how you made the theme a somber, yet hopeful one, as if getting to a key point in your joerney. The point where you start to piece some stuff together and learn more about your world, it's past and your adversities. And it is also the point where you start to feel the weight of this war-scarred and doomed world on your shoulders, with hopelesness and fear starting to kick in. How in God's name can you, a lonely, meek, fragile Terrarian even come close to defeating the horrors that await and know your every move? Beings that are called "The Devourer of Gods", or even Yharim - Seeker of Gods, would surely strike unease and panic into a mere human. Yet you must learn more, know what caused the catastrophes and calamities around you, why there is no place for peace, why fate must be so disgustingly and horribly tragic to everyone in this world. You will experience death. You will endure dozens more. And you will suffer through hundreds still. Yet you will rise and rise again, to struggle, fight, and rise to greater heights, to slay the ones who brought ruin to this place, and as if dictated by fate itself - fall and die again, for this is not a place of hope. This is a tale of a cruel world. Sorry for being dramatic, but these are the brainstormy thoughts that came into my mind when I first listened to it. Amazing track, well done!

I feel like the Bio-center Labs could end up working like how the dungeon works, where there are distinct "cursed" and player-made walls. The new theme fits an aging lab abandoned with time, maybe if you shimmer the walls then it could play the old theme to allow for player made labs to feel slightly more alive.

Such a great fit for Draedon's labs. Really carries the vibes of a scientist simply observing an "experiment" and not intervening. Really drives me to explore each lab I come across despite me never really using any of the tech weapons in my playthroughs. The motif for this track reminds me of DM Dokuro's "Silence Before the Storms" and "Catastrophe Before the Calamity." I dunno, this just sounds really similar to both of those interludes.

The slow climactic melody in Catastrophes before the Calamity IS Draedon's motif - the later part of it is played here. That track is essentially a double whammy foreshadowing track for both SCal and Draedon. You can also hear Draedon's motif in Aureus' theme (piano bit before the guitar section).
