I had the very opposite reaction. I only play on Classic and I don't like things that are incredibly challenging. I'd heard of boss rush and once I had killed Adult Eidolon Wyrm, thus having beat every boss last week, I took another dive in the abyss and actually looked in the chest that I'd been noticing during my AEW fights. I took one look in that chest and immediately slammed it shut without taking Terminus. I'm leaving that thing down there forever.

Y'know, I don't get why more games don't have an area/soundtrack like this. Like, I get it if the game you have doesn't fit this, like fighting games or something, but why can't minecraft or zelda games have and intricate, dark underwater biome with a bopping soundtrack and cool reward at the bottom. Maybe new ore? Or a dungeon? Anything, please. I'd honestly pay for an Abyss like area in any of my favorite games

I imagine a biome that would go below bedrock, and it'd be pitch black at all the times, light sources would be unnefective because of the void fog. No idea of what you could find there or what you would do.
