It's been over 8 months ever since this track was made, and *wow* it did not age well! I'm going to be blunt: I completely understand why some of y'all dislike the track so much Its usages of chromatic notes are janky, the chord progression isn't the greatest, and there's way too much dissonance This track was an experiment on my part, trying to see how far I could push the limits of dissonance And I'll admit that the end result was... absolutely mediocre! ^^; A part of me wants to remake it, but to be honest, I think I'm just going to instead leave it as is As it serves as a great example of what you should *not* do for a boss song! Plus, I'll admit that analyzing its flaws had made me improve a lot as a musician, and for that I'm proud of its... failure? Well, I know many of y'all who do like the song will object to it being called that, but you know what I mean! Also, I've seen some of y'all making your own renditions of the track, and I gotta say they had been cool! It's quite interesting, seeing all the different ideas people have on what'd fit for the boss

I do kind of agree that this is a little weaker than some of your other tracks, but I don't think that makes this bad or even mediocre. I think it's honestly pretty good, it's just that most of what you've released since has set the bar so high. It's certainly no Intellect of the Crimson or Voictus Terminus or One's Ending Another's Beginning, but it's still a pretty solid track

Great Sandshark turned into a boss? Yes please! I never liked fighting the thing or using most of its drops so this is a welcome change. (Also this means that it cant fly 1000m away and despawn, you have no idea how happy that makes me)

I imagine Vassal’s fight will be similar to Yharim’s. Yharim will either be a Melee-only or Magic/Melee hybrid type of enemy, I cant imagine him using guns or summons in an honourable 1v1. Have a (Infernum) Providence-sized or Vassal-sized arena will be much more on-theme than open world imo, especially on the Aerie. Whether or not Yharim will have a Yharon-like summon is beyond me but I doubt it. Anyways, basically a fight akin to Vassal is what I imagine

They're riding a sand shark, they use a trident, they have a motif from Razorblade Monsoon and the theme's name mentions a lost kingdom. I'm absolutely convinced this Vassal is another survivor of Amidias kingdom, presumably his servant rather than his enemy judging by their name.

What started it all was when I started listening to some amazing tracks composed by skilled music artists like xi, LeaF, DM Dokuro etc. many years ago- Those tracks and their respective musicians have inspired me to try making my own music! I want to one day be able to make a name for myself as a musician like them, and while the first year or so of composing was pretty rough for me, eventually I was able to find my footing and my own style of music like the one I have today! Obviously, I still have a lot to learn and my music is far from flawless, but for me that's part of the fun! There's always something new and interesting to learn and try out, and though my attempts to try something new may be rough with mixed results at times, what matters most is that I enjoy what I do! ^w^
