Thanks for the update! I feel the music matched the biomes well, the isolated grunge of the corruption, the feeling of wonder in the arctic biome, I also preferred the space theme to the current one in Terraria! Also graphically, I absolutely loved the lightning flashing in the corruption, very cool! :)

three things i noticed, and it was during the Crystal Caves (thing 1) clip. it was after the player killed the Crystal Archer (thing 2), and i noticed something it either dropped, or that the player used. when the player went to pick up the Archer's drops, i noticed the words, "Gold-plated *Tomahawk*". this obviously means... THERE ARE TOMAHAWKS IN THE GAME!? HECK YEAH!!!!!!

People, they did release the soundtrack. In seed 05162020, the one with the party girl, You can access the secret "otherworldly" tracks with a music box to record them. (1.4 only)

Saying you'd rather stick with regular Terraria is a dumb thing to say when they have barely shown anything from Otherworld. All your basically saying is "I don't like change - hmph!" These are the type of people that would still say they didn't like Otherworld just out of spite. Also, the "It's too Starboundyyyyyyyy!!" comments are dumb, too. I get the fact that it visually looks similar to Starbound, but they haven't really shown enough gameplay to warrant a comparison.

I agree with ya, yo - I'm interested to see what Terraria Otherworld will bring, but people aren't really giving it a chance. The graphics style seems to be going for a more "RPG" approach (which, from my understanding, seems to be high-shading and low colour difference - where Starbound had low shading and low colour difference, for comparison) - I'm definitely getting more of a feeling of those Minecraft RPG-like resource packs than Starbound, here. Though, if I AM to give some criticism to the shown content of the game - the animation when the player character was using the Amethyst Staff in the Crystal Caves looked a bit odd. Not saying that the original Terraria's animations were any better, but still. It doesn't look right.

***** Actually it makes a bit of sense. I believe those people just don't like the new art style of the game. I personally love the new art style and animations. The way the trees move, how the equipped weapon is shown in your hand, etc. Wish these were in Terraria too, but oh well. Its atleast being implemented.

Can people stop complaining? This looks amazing for what it is. It doesn't look like terraria because it's a spinoff. If you want a game by cool game by re-logic that is similar to terraria but has more a RPG Style graphics and sound, feel free to buy this. If you want another game similar to terraria in terms of graphics and sound, buy Terraria 2 when it comes out. Personally, I'm most likely going to put 1000 hours into this game as I did terraria. I personally feel that people who aren't buying this game due to the graphics and sound are missing out big time ^_^ PS: Can we stop complaining the graphics are inspired by Starbound? Starbounds core game was heavily inspired by terraria, and no one minded.

+Patrick White Games like Terraria can't die. Infinite updates won't 'save' it. The only thing that can keep it 'alive' is the fanbase and it's completely up to them if they will all go and do other things or not... But terraria has great single player capabilities and doesn't require others to have fun in it The whole 'community' can die and nothing has changed.

Patrick White And what more can they update? the latest update (1.3) had a bunch of problems and req2uired last minute fixes and hot fixes because the games engine literally can not handle that much. Notice how even the smallest of mods starts hitting the FPS and can cause the game to be unstable. The only way to update terraria is get a completely new engine... which is most likely what terraria 2 may be. Just terraria with better graphics, crafting, quests, infinite worlds, etc...

It's sad -- had a more competent team been developing this from the start, we could be playing two awesome Terraria games, and a lot of awesome music! I only hope that Re-Logic release these tracks in some form or another -- whether it gets used in the fabled Terraria 2, Music Boxes or even just a straight upload onto Soundcloud. I somehow recall Re-Logic saying in the past that they still had plans for much of it, but I sometimes wonder if it's just been forgotten about.

@@freshmilk7122 Just saying you have to visit the world seed 5162020 (don't worry about world size or world evil or mode) and then talk to the party girl who replaces the guide. Then you can use the music feature in other worlds
