I feel like The Dungeon Defenders 2 crossover event is one of the most forgotten crossover events ever. lmao The DD2 x Terraria crossover event had tons of Terraria content like Meowmere as a weapon, the Eye of Cthulu as a boss & The Dryad as a playable character who could summon Harpies, Bees, Slimes & Angry Nimbuses. There was several other bits of Terraria content I can't remember off the top of my head all of it in 3D. Fun Fact: The Dryad's shimmer form is actually based on/inspired by the Dryad's corruption transformation from DD2.

@@Explorerofshadows dd2 is pretty much dead playerbase-wise 🥲used to average 5 figures of players but now you're lucky to even get 500 people granted 500 is more than enough to enjoy the game considering the whole squads of 4 thing, but it's still a far cry from what it used to be (also doesn't help that the game is a lot more p2w than the original ever was, and dungeon defenders awakened was downright awful which probably made the reputation of the series a bit less desirable and made people back off a bit)

​​@@Palemis Did you know Terraria 1.4.5 was announced on November 2022 and it was meant to come out in the early 2023 as a small update to introduce the dead cells collaboration? I know GTA VI has been a very awaited game for years but that has been announced in december 2023. I personally hold no grudges against Terraria Devs but man, I really can't wait for the 1.4.5 update. Hopefully it really will be released in the early 2024.

I'll be honest I really don't understand the push for the Meowmere of all the weapons in Terraria. Like it's a very fun and cool weapon but it's not one I have ever felt deserved the reverence that crossover and promo stuff tends to give it, at least compared to the vast majority of other weapons unique to Terraria. It's just a really silly, powerful post-game weapon in my eyes that I end up rarely seeing myself and then just forget about because, like most post-Moonlord stuff, it's at the end at a point where I'm basically done with the game. Nothing about going through the effort to obtain it feels particularly unique and nothing about the weapon itself feels reflective of the game as a whole and the vibe and experience of Terraria, something which the Terrablade and its parts on the other hand have always been for the many years it has been THE iconic weapon. It's cool stuff to see but I really hope that in the future we see more of the weapons that really represent a big part of the journey of the game, stuff like the Megashark and Terrablade.

palworld doesn't really have many things that are unique to the brand (other than the pals) so there aren't really many things for terraria to take from. you have a musket, shotgun... umm.. an assault rifle? hmm... i guess the most unique thing is lilys spear as a weapon, and the rest are pals (that could be summons or pets depending on the pal)
