Here's an odd one: you know how furniture sets usually have only one item in each category, like one rich mahogany bed, one rich mahogany dresser? For whatever reason, there are two different grandfather clocks you can make with sunplate blocks: the sunplate clock, and the skyware clock.

here's a fact; for some reason, there's both a beer emote and an ale emote. they're almost the exact same, both showing a picture of the beer mug item, but the ale emote is 1 pixel thinner

Just to add something for the Japanese 'Terraria' name localization, double consonants are usually indicated by the germinate consonants っ and ッ (the small 'tsu'-in Hiragana and Katakana respectively), and are mostly used for a sudden stop in pronouncing words. テッラリア (Te-[pause]-ra-ri-a) would sound quite unnatural. So in this case, you're right in saying that they didn't have the need to add that! Besides that, awesome video!

For anyone wondering why NOT gates are the only type of logic gate not in game: Terraria wiring doesn't actually have on and off states, only certain tiles like timers and doors do. The wires themselves just send a single impulse whenever triggered. So flipping a lever twice actually sends to signals, and tiles that do have on and off states just switch between those states whenever they receive an input. So a NOT gate would just activate any wires it's attached to when triggered, making it no different from just using wires

Although there is no NOT gate in Terraria, you can just connect both inputs of a NAND gate to the same wire. In fact you don't even need AND, OR, NOR, XOR, or XNOR gates. If you don't need to worry about space, you can use nothing but NAND gates to create any other logic gate.

You can fix the Starboard by equipping your wings of choice in a vanity slot; visually and audibly the starboard is replaced but the function of the starboard remains I think the nebula wings and/or vortex booster work in similar ways if you want the hover mechanic

Idk if you've done this already. But I found that when the slime rain is underway the slimes are naturally aggressive towards the player, but once it stops, the slimes (minus the ones who've taken damage) lose their aggressive properties and just jump away in peace.

i'd say the gold in gold goldfish bowl is referring to the fish, because if we presume the bottle used in the crafting recipe is what becomes the bowl, the fish would be the only golden thing in the recipe

the saphire staff isnt really in the same tier with emerald staff. while "crimson type" ore has almost the same stats, it is slightly superior. and i find it fair. also, another useless thing that i discovered: if you sort items with a different character that has different stats, it will sort items differently. this mostly applyes to weapons tho.

I would say the Minishark either has 4 barrels since on the frontal view pic you can see 4 dark spots which should be the end of the barrels, or it has 8 barrels since you can make out the thing to have an Octagon like look. I would tend to 4 barrels since i think that would make sense considering its firerate and the fact its literally a play on the words Minigun and Shark, and miniguns always have multiple barrels. Megashark feels more like an LMG imo

fun terraria x DST crossover fact: a terrarian starves about twice as fast as a don't starve character. depending on the food, a terrarian will last roughly 1 in game day without food off of a full stomach, whereas the average don't starve character lasts exactly 2. additionally, as the video says a terrarian lasts about an hour before dying when starving to death, whereas don't starve character lasts about 2 minutes before dying, which would be 6 hours if the constant has 24 hour days. in conclusion, Wes (the super weak challenge/joke character in Don't Starve) is as good as a terrarian at surviving, since he will starve to death twice as fast due to his pathetic stats. edit: Wes actually lasts longer still.

Statues will drop items if *you* (not lava or traps) kill them, with a reduced chance. Slimes are unique in that they drop with a full chance and regardless of killing method
