The small fast tech you use for traveling has some wheels which could be put below the bigger techs to not have as many issues with getting broken all the time. Also, you could add some hover pads (GeoCorp ones, for example) to lessen the load, especially while in a bumpy terrain, but not too much. Optionally also add hoverpads in the back, so you don't drive back and hit the ground. As for the tech with max length, height, and width, you could try having a base which harvests using GeoCorp mining lasers, fabricates resource bricks automatically, gets them in the SCU, has all that protected by some sort of wall, and has the outside with hooks to park other techs in (especially flying ones), and maybe a multi-level garage (with shields instead of doors, and using 2x1 GeoCorp armor to stop the techs from rolling out of the garage) which is on top and accessible via a ramp (like car parks with multiple floors/levels). Maybe also have the very top be a landing strip to launch and land airplanes on. At most, you would need multiple techs hooked together, to extend the maximum build size for the runway and for the ramp to get onto the garages area.
