Good morning guys, how are you all doing? I have heard about comparison between two very popular fragrances in the past, and how close they are, are they really? I just wanted to compare them and discuss their similarities and differences. hope you enjoy my talk, idea and thoughts on each are solely mine, you can always pick your winner.

I tried both Icon and TDH edt on my skin , the opening of icon is quite strong unlike tdh which has a citrusy opening which I found not overpowering to my nose . However in the dry down I found that they both smell similar . It’s magnificent how sexy they smell in the dry down , very similar . So I am getting an Icon 100 ml for so much less price than a TDH bottle. Depends how much 💲💸 you want to spend on a fragrance and people do spend a lot on luxury.

Hermes goes upto 500ml. Seen it in Barcelona for 320 euros. I have both but Hermes is by far the better fragrance.

I personally do find them both to be similar, even remember that strong black pepper opening when I tried both for t he first time.

Can't speak about TDH but I do own Icon and I get 7 to 8 hrs longevity out of it. I get some what of a bright fizzy opening but just a beautiful and unique scent all the way through. I really enjoy it and have received a few compliments wearing it. I guess I need to get my nose on TDH. Great review man, keep it up!

@@marqueemolina6929 I definitely prefer Icon over TDH. More going on with neroli, black pepper and iris. TDH has too much of a dirty orange note which is hard to like even as a vetiver fan.

Very good episode ..if u remember joy .. Carolina herrera did a fragrance in the 90s very near from icon Dunhill .. I think it's flanker from chic .. but not sure I am Dunhill forever ..

I love icon TDH edt is very expensive if you want to have TDH edt or intense vetiver then try John Varvatos Artisan XX

Just sprayed Dunhill icon, TDH edt and Eau tres fraiche on My skin while watching this. For Me Icon and TDH ETF is even more similar. And yes the opening of Icon and the TDH DNA is quite similar for Me even though they kinda differ later on. I get the similarity in the Orange/Neroli, pepper, Vetiver combo of both perfumes.

To me they smell nothing alike ... TDH reminds me more of Bvlgari aqua amara rather than Icon

Great summer scent. I like Terre d'Hermes but it seems to die off quickly and the sillage dies back to skin level quickly. A good scent for over sprayers. 😁

I’m in the minority. TDH edt is horrid on me. Dunhill Icon smells good for about 5 minutes and I have to scrub it. For some reason I find it to be cloying.

Dunhill Icon is a more masculine version of Nikos Sculpture or Versace's the Dreamer. I don't understand that people call it a office scent? or even worse a signiture scent:) It's way too sweet for a office scent in my opinion and there are too many occasions in wich you can't wear this over 30.. It's flanker icon absolut in the gold bottle is actually way more suitable as an office scent, still a tad too sweet imo but atleast it has a more classy feel to it, i personally would go with Guerlain homme edp if i feel a little bold and that's safe AF:) after work no rules for me:) To me icon is a outside activity scent 2 sprays on the back of the neck and 1 on each wrist. If you wanna go office you have to make the distinction in what kind of office you work:)

I bought icon (edp my ass) and i regret it, it smells good but doesnt last even 1/2hr on me, so Terre wins by light years. TDH is a badass scent, for mature mofos, not for kids.
