Terrance, excellent playing! Do you play by ear? What do you think the most effective way to learn piano to play somewhat like you? You play very free flowing, but in this video you started to name the chords. I've been playing for a year, should I learn the chords, sheet music...what method did you learn to play the way you do? I appreciate your time!

man it's just 20+ years of practice my man. just get familiar with your instrument. listen to how she sounds. memorize each note. play around with the notes. but most importantly, play with other people. feed off of them. listen to great musicians. good luck my man!

Raise your hand if your guilty When using a pianist like thisYou automatically thinkHe told itselfAre you doesn't know what he's playing he's just playing by earHa haPeople always ask me that questionDid you teach yourself Well that's to say that he never learned anything from yourselfJust got did anything new on your own Or you've never had someone show you anything Is no such thing as you teach yourselfGuilty
