Thanks Soc. The cordless tools will be out in March or April, $379 for the 25mm DA and $359 for the Rotary
@DetailingMadeSimpleАй бұрын
Thank you. I am looking forward on the cordless polishers. I have been seeing only great things about them 💪. Definitely the fast charging, 25mm da and it doesn't lose its power and torque or bogs down is a huge selling point. Especially making it affordable and reasonably priced. It's shocking to see a company sell. $300 da then for cordless it's $699 😂.

I got that same SPTA polisher from AliExpress for $150 because I had a coupon. It was the same one listed on Amazon for $270 and it was even shipped to me from Amazon. Haha. I’m a weekend worrier who may use it once a year so it’s the perfect cordless option at that price point. But I agree, at $200 for professional use it is not a good option.
@DetailingMadeSimple12 күн бұрын
Perfectly said my brother. Professional use not a great option. In the near future 4 months the cordless from DIY will be out and it's $270. So that's a steal. Overall it's a very good tool just not for the everyday user.

Appreciate you my brother. 💪. Yes a few years ago this would be a great option unfortunately now with new batteries and much powerful tools this is not the most economical option anymore. That diy rotary is awesome. I can't wait for their cordless I'm going to buy one of each first see if I get used to the battery position 😂😂

Very important video and comparison. I started with the SPTA but soon realized i need POWER to actually do a decent correction which is why i started now with the Hercules rotary.
@DetailingMadeSimpleАй бұрын
Thank you for watching. Exactly eventually you know you need more power. I am able to do 2 steps but that's because I would swap to a heavy cut compound for it just takes a bit longer to cut on harder paints. The Hercules rotary I heard is good.

Another great and informative video brother! Looking to invest in the DIY 25mm cordless upon its release. Will be a nice compliment to the Milwaukee M18 15mm DA and Rotary Polisher. Believe I’ll refer it the trio as the “Polishing Trinity” !!!
@DetailingMadeSimpleАй бұрын
Thank you 💪💪. Glad you enjoyed the video. I agree it being a 25mm da is a huge plus and investment. Yes the Milwaukee is a great investment as well on if you have the batteries already. Because again for the polisher and batteries it's around $450 I just don't like the vibration on the da

I got the shinemate cordless 21 & 15 love them, the 21 cuts really good for a cordless, wonder how well the diy 25 mm cordless will cut compared to their corded, have used my buddies corded 25 mm a handful of times that thing is a beast
@DetailingMadeSimpleАй бұрын
Nicccee. Yes the shine mate is the best cordless polisher imo based on price and good battery life. Compared to types, flex and optimum imo. Yes the 25mm is very powerful I enjoy it as well. I am super stoked for DiY cordless as everyone has said they operate and feel like the corded tools which is a huge plus!!!

It is not a bad machine. Use it mostly for polishing and light swirl removal. I was already in the Makita ecosystem so the fact that I already had batteries was a huge plus for me. The cordless convenience is awesome. I do have a corded maxshine M15 for more complex situations that call for more power. I see SPTA is about to release V3 of their cordless stuff. Those DIY offerings do look promising especially if they are Makita compatible. Thanks.
@DetailingMadeSimpleАй бұрын
@@omargonzalez-uw5ow it’s not a bad machine at all I agree. Just now with the technology out there on cordless polishers with fast charging to me this is not worth it. It’s great when you already have makita batteries but for those who don’t. Best to just wait a couple more months or get from another brand to get a better built quality tool. M15 is great 💪. I hope the DIY performs like their corded ones we will have to wait and see.

I've been waiting around to pull the trigger on this v2 SPTA cordless but if a v3 is about to be released, maybe I'll wait a bit longer. Any idea when v3 is coming out?
@omargonzalez-uw5owАй бұрын
@@reyesmaria323 I do not know the release date, but if you go to the SPTA official website they have all the new polishers posted. They are now black with orange trim. Most if not all indicate sold out which I am led to believe they still have not been released.

For 1 step corrections do you mainly use the DA now a days?
@DetailingMadeSimpleАй бұрын
Yes I mainly use DA for one steps. I use the SPTA. For it it works very well .

I have this v2 SPTA DA polisher and love it. I bought a cheap $25 makita knock off battery from Amazon and did my entire Audi S5 with rupes advanced and yellow wool pad on that one battery.

That's great to know. Yes if you're using uno advance for a light enhancement with 30 minutes of run time on one battery you're a beast.

I don't get why u compared a corded to a cordless for power of course the corded will make more power at max setting. Stpa is verry solid with the fast charging battery.
@DetailingMadeSimple17 күн бұрын
@@Chrisjones-qi5xq thank you very much for watching. Unfortunately I wasn’t comparing directly from the diy corded and SPTA. I was comparing price vs upgraded and newer cordless polisher from Shinemate, Flex, optimum etc. on how their cordless systems are fast charging batteries but they cost $400 and up. Vs SPTA that cost $279 and don’t come with fast charging and if you don’t have a makita batteries guess what you will have to purchase batteries and charger to then be above the $400 mark. With that being said I’d rather pay for a better built tool for the same price than get the SPTA. 2 years ago this tool was definitely worth it budget wise now not soo much. Especially from what I have heard that the new DIY cordless tools are the same price as SPTA come with fast charging batteries and have more power than the SPTA. Of course I can’t compare the cordless SPTA vs the new DIY one as it’s not out yet. But from many reputable people that went to sema was amazed how powerful the tool was and said it feels exactly like their corded tool. That’s what I was comparing. Price/Quality/Is it worth it now.
@Chrisjones-qi5xq16 күн бұрын
@DetailingMadeSimple thanks for the info I was thinking about the stpa, but I can't find extra batteries. So knowing there are other batteries that I can get, and are better was a big help. Maybe I'll wait for the d.i.y to come out, and see if it's worth the price. That stpa bundle is hard to beat though. Good video, and thanks for the response.

@@KingTheDetailer so far nothing has been. But some products have been close to it. Like the Rupes cordless. I don’t care for the most powerful cordless machine. Just try to be as close to the corded tools as possible and maintain that torque
