Terrible dirty carpet cleaning satisfying rug cleaning ASMR

Hello friends!
ln this video, l cleaned a carpet that was heavily soiled as a result of flooding the warehouse. The carpet was so dirty it took over an hour to wash it.
ln the end, l was the winner and the carpet returned to its original state :)

@@S4NSE that was a high pressure cleaner , he used it to rinse out all the dirty water. Its clean water that came out of the machine. He didn't put the dirty water on top again.

Usually, flooded rugs have an odor that are hard to remove even after you've thoroughly cleaned the dirt off. I hope after this great cleaning, you also treated the odor.

Alot of carpet cleaners, especially the really good ones, will help with odor, and wouldn't be surprised if the one pressure (scrubber I think, it was the circle one) and the solution helped with that

You could hang the rug then pressure spray it from both sides before cleaning it on floor. Using this way will prevent that extra dirt forming under it from getting back to the rug while it sits on that floor. Ps saving more time and more water.

You are correct and also when you agitate the carpet fibre when full of dirt you cause ware and abrasion on the rug. Hang the carpet and pressure wash from back side first then you can use machines to clean the carpet

When using the power washer to rinse the grime off the rug after each scrub, mimic the motion you use with the squeegee. I’ve found this to be extremely more effective as it rinses it off with minimal blowback of the grime into the spots I just rinsed. Just noticed that happening with you, thought I’d drop a tip 👍🏼

Oh my goodness. The dirt just kept flowing, and flowing, and flowing! There was more dirt than rug! I can't imagine how much lighter it was to carry after all that was removed. How do you dry the rugs after cleaning?

I think the biggest lesson I ever learned from your videos is that when you do something and it looks good enough you just need to look beneath the surface and bam, filth at its best. To really clean up a mess you have to make sure there is no more filth _inside_ and it's not always obvious. It's the same as when you're sewing and you want your stitching to be perfect in the part you can't see too, or when you build something and you want the hidden parts to be as beautiful as the ones you can see It's not something you find easily nowadays.

Thought it was a vintage/antique rug. Maybe passed by generations in the family or something like that and it turned out to be a kids cartoon rug... Still a super great job cleaning it of course!

Technically that probably is an antique, this show is around 30 years old. It could very well be something passed down from parent to child. Who knows what's happened in the owners life. Said parent might not be around anymore and the rug holds a lot of sentimental value.

Just a pro tip its a lot easier and more Effective if you clean your rugs on a metal Grate that way everything will just fall down and wash away and it saves you time from cleaning and flipping as much still a pretty beautiful end result

He has wasted lot lot lot of water in cleaning. Also he has wasted electricity and detergent. First of all he should only wet the carpet and should put some detergent on it to let the dirt soften. Then he should remove the dirt with scraper and leave this piece of on any stand where the dirty water drains out. then he should clean the dirt under the carpet. then he should start a second phase of cleaning with machine. and then repeat again. He doesn't need to remove dirt on the floor with water. he can remove dirt with wiper and litter water. At last thanks for making such videos. The are really satisfying. Just keep track of the resources you use ;). Don't Waste water 💦. it's life.

The pre-cleaning should have been done right away with the pressure washer. Put the carpet on a scaffolding and first spray all the mud down from both sides with pressurized water.

Yay, on this video, it looks like they actually pointed the pressure washer in sensible directions primarily toward the outer edges of the rug, rather than pushing dirty water back toward the middle... Less triggering to the ol OCD, or whatever. :) Seems like that helps keep the dirt / mud from redepositing in the middle or whatever. ;) Still kinda' feels like the rug should be hung and power washed "through" & "downward" so it gets blasted off/out, and can't partly redeposit from below, or whatever, as you're moving it over the floor after washing the rug but before washing the floor. ;) But, what do I know? Other than the fact the floor always seems to look nasty after the power washing and/or rug scrubbing machine.
