Trick for avoiding over-spray lines from tape. Crease/fold the edge of the tape inward about a 1/4 to 3/8's so it's sticking up slightly from the surface area. It blends much better.

There is a product called Dr. ColorChip for stone chips and scratches that is easy to use and looks good. My car was pearl white and they don't have some of the colors. You get the paint color off the door and they match it. You dab it on and let it dry a couple of minutes and then you take a clear liquid and wipe lighty and it smooths out . I think the clear liquid is a clear coat . It looks really good when done. If not perfect you can take the clear liquid and wipe it off and redo it.

Thanks Scotty pointing how important color match is. Also doing as little as possible. If you bought all the equipment it would still be cheaper than taking it to a body shop.

Scotty: I've done lots of "touch up body work" in the past. If you put the tape along the "crease" on that quarter panel, you will get a better result. The crease help hide the new paint from being detected by the eye -- with much better results! Also, more tape (or better yet some sort of paper) would have protected the rest of the panel from overspray.

For this to look right, you need to take it to a body shop or paint/dent repair. Some things you can do yourself and count on a great result. But when it comes to paint and getting it all to blend correctly for a seamless look, I'd leave that to the pros. Great video all the same!

That spray paint is better than the overall paint job on my 4 Runner. Toyota definitely dropped the ball with their 💩 paint! There should be a recall for it!

Gates has a good idea again? But i used to think Microsoft was, but sometimes I wonder. If maintained properly, nuclear is the way. Nothing wrong with solar, but better used as backup and in more personal use. Windmills cost more to build ans maintain than what they put out.
