BTW Scratch has a feature called "cloud variables" that are saved to the cloud and everyone can modify it. It's not saved to your computer. It's used in Sonic Evasion here. Also there's a "pen" extension that allows drawing shapes and stuff, which allows you to do better 3D. It was used in the 3D genesis Sonic Engine here.

I had like tons of terrible (and not-so terrible) Sonic games made with Game Maker on my PC. Downloaded them from yoyogames but then they deleted the entire archive and my hard drive has died. All those games just gone into non-existence. If you want to imagine how big is that loss, there was one game named Sonic Adventure 4.

God, I keep forgetting people never read about making jump physics in Scratch.

Because it's hard as hell. You have to look up 7 different guides, trying to find a decent one. And then you have to spend close to 30 MINUTES constructing Velocity, Controls, wall jumping, ducking, jumping, etc. Extra 2 if you make a mistake and have to find out how to fix it. It's not as easy as simply, (If Key pressed go direction) it's extremely annoying. Even MORE if you want to do scrolling... That's a WHOLE 'nother beast to take on that takes at least 3-5 Hours. But every Scratcher has to do it at least once in their lifetime. I made 1 decent platformer, then I saved the code so I NEVER have to do all that again.
