You forgot the Jack Russell trembling... they tremble when they really REALLY want something, some mistake it for being cold or scared, but thats not why... often accompanied by the "silent whine" most Jacks do it....

Nyles has the rips (zoomies) when happy. He loves his many toys but has to do a squeakotomy on the new ones and then shreds the toy. He doesn't do that to anything else. He definitely has to burrow under the covers sometimes face out or not at all. Hardest dog I have ever trained bc they know what you want but sometimes they just want to be independent! But my favorite to watch him is when he runs and leaps into water...all 4 paws straight out and flying like superman! It is a JRT trait. They are tougher than nails and will take on anyone or anything that would try to harm me or himself but otherwise loving and independent. Love this dog. He is now 14 years old and still going strong with a little gray in his handsome face now. I have had him since he was 7 weeks old.

My jack is 17. He's been my little boy since I've had him 7 weeks old. His name is Stimpy, l trained him very well first 1/12 2 years. He's never been on a lead ever since. He's completely bonkers but so loving to me, he never leaves my side. But if he sees a fox or rabbit his mind kind of shuts down, no matter what commands l give him and there's nothing I can do until the animal has gone then he's back to normal that's if you call them normal. They are the best dog in the would. They are so loyal and trustworthy and loving. Every thing you've said on your tube is exactly my little boy. I really don't know what l will do when he's gone. I love him so much. Ian. From England, Brighton.

My little boy loves cuddles and has to have his nose buried under my neck. Always puts himself under blankets to sleep. The one weird thing he does is when we play ball. He loves to play ball but if the ball bounces or hits something, he will retrace ball but stop and sniff all areas the ball has touched before bringing it back. His little nose goes into overdrive and he won't bring the ball back until he has confirmed all areas the ball has bounced or rolled onto

My jrt does zoomies and I laugh so hard. The more I laugh the more zoomies he does. I think he likes to make me laugh. Also, he sleeps in the craziest positions and when he sleeps in the bed he has to be under the covers nose and all. He makes a dog nest to sleep in and it has to be just right. After he pees he kind of stands partially up and scratches the ground with his back feet. It's hilarious. He has a blanket, his blankie, which he nurses, kills , licks and humps (and he has been neutered.). I don't know if he was taken from his mother too early but he will fall asleep with that blanket in his mouth. He has it in his mouth and his little front feet are moving just like he's nursing. He does other weird stuff too but I don't have space to write it all. He is just very weird but I love it and I love him so much. He's my buddy and I take him everywhere he's allowed. When he rides in a cart in a store he is so well behaved and everyone has to pet him. He thinks when I go shopping that it is all about him. He's so rotten but he's the best.

Zoomies= Nascar laps. Dotty June likes chews, and will chew to the end of one, about the size of a large to medium size marble, tossing it up into the air and catches it, then shoots SHOOTS off into the other room. She'll then throw it and continue running wildly throughout the house as fast as she can. It might be 3-4 laps later before she scoops up the chew and carries it off again in a dead sprint! When she stops at the recliner, lays down with her bobbed white tipped tail standing straight up in the air, she will wave her tail slowly as she notices she has my attention. Then the tail waves a little faster as she starts talking to me. Putting her paw under the chair, not breaking her stare with me, nor stop talking. She's tossed her bite size chew under the chair and can't reach it. She won't bark to notify my of the issue, she talks to me eye to eye. I tell everyone, June Bug is smarter than a 4th Grader! Dotty has never chewed on furniture, belts, other pieces of clothing or shoes. She's so well behaved and is so excited to see EVERYONE. All dogs are burrowing canines especially terriers. The deeper under the covers the better. Secondary to her butt pressed up against my back or under my chest. I think she kisses my ears because, I kiss hers! But, I don't lick! TeeHeee

Dogs feel vulnerable when doing toilet activities. They expect a member of the pack to watch over them. They assume you have same issues. So, they want to watch over you. Very common dog behavior. Rewatching all your videos because they are so fun. All of the items you mentioned my little pup has. But one I would add is I’m disabled and my little jack although she’s barely 10 inches is very protective. If I fall over she will stay with me licking my face till I manage to get up. But on one occasion she ran off and alerted a police officer who came to my aid. I don’t know if others have found this but she is also super perceptive of people. We were out and someone saw me as an easy mugging target. Before he even reached me she sensed something I didn’t and bore her teeth growling, hair up and kept herself between me and him. The knife he produced didn’t faze her and she went for his ankle, in a circling and threatening manner till he ran off. Only time I have seen her do this. She normally adores everyone, other dogs are allowed to run off with her balls or frisbee without protest. She adores the attention of children but has been trained to go to the adults first to seek approval that it’s alright for the child to stroke her. They are truly an amazing breed which can master anything despite their size.
