Terrific Fishing Opportunities on Lower Crab Creek Road

Just a few miles from the Vantage Bridge is Lower Crab Creek Road, and it leads to some very special trout fishing lakes. Burkett Lake is a small lake but gets generous plants of rainbow every year. It’s one of the Grant County PUD’s Recreation Areas and has many great amenities. A short distance up the road is the access to Lenice and Nunnally lakes. These are extremely popular with fly fishermen and clubs from all over the state plan outings for their members to visit them. The lakes receive lots of attention in the spring as they are included in the March 1st early opening of several lakes in Grant County. They remain open to fishing through the end of November. These lakes are considered two of the premier quality lakes in the state.
